guys, this thing called kent poker club has just emerged and one of the venues is a pub 50 yds from my house!! nice!!! means i can get my fix of live poker every week!! just going over their rules an seems fine to me just want a few pairs of eyes to go over it make sure it's all above board and right ;)

1. All players must agree to, and abide by, all rules of the TPC (Thanet Poker Club). 
2. Basic rules for Texas Hold-Em apply to TPC, see How To Play via website for 
more info. 
3. Venue Managers decisions are final. 
4. Prizes have no cash value. 
5. Chips have no value whatsoever and are for play & entertainment purposes only. 
6. Blinds will be raised consistently throughout the tournament. 
7. Seating is random and assigned via the Venue Manager. 
8. The lowest denomination chip will be colored up when no longer needed. 
Excess chips will be rounded up.  
9. All tournament finals are free to enter with qualifying points. 
10. Players are obligated to post all blinds. 
11. If the player in the Small Blind is eliminated then the dealer button stays with the 
current dealer. Players will post blinds as normal. This is the ‘dead button rule’. 
12. If the Big Blind is eliminated the Small Blind position is dead and only the Big 
Blind is posted.  
13. We draw cards for dealer when starting a new table. 
14. Suits run from Spades, Hearts, Diamonds and Clubs in this order. 
15. At the beginning of the evening the dealer button will be decided by a high card.  
16. When only two players remain, the player due to assume the Big Blind will do so 
and the player on the Small Blind will inherit the button. The Small Blind will act 
first prior to the flop and second after the flop.  
17. Side pots will be used when necessar(All in’s). 
18. Players must show both of their cards to win a pot.  
19. If two players are eliminated on the same hand then which ever player had more 
chips starting the hand will be awarded the higher finishing position and points. 
20. All chips must remain on the table at all times. Always have your highest 
denomination chips clearly visible in your chip stack.  
21. All cards must remain on the table at all times. 
22. No String Bets. 
23. Any chips removed from their tray or holder are classed as a bet.  
24. Do not splash the pot. Place your bets in an open space in front of you.  
25. Oversize chips count as a call, unless previously declared as a raise.  
26. Raises must be at least the amount of any previous raise amount or bet except 
when all in.  
27. Any raise Pre-Flop must be double big blind. 
28. Any bets Post-Flop must be minimun of the big blind in that hand. 
29. All players are prohibited from placing any form of currency on the poker table 
during the tournament.  
30. There is no gambling at any event. Players receive league points only. 
31. Players must not show cards to othhr players during the game. 
32. If a player isn't at the table in time to take his turn then the dealer will fold/muck 
their cards. 
33. No talking on cell phones during a hand.  If you do, your hand can (and will) be 
mucked. 
34. Support your host venues, they make this possible.
