I'd bet smaller on the flop and bigger on the turn
as played it's probably a fold

meh its a dym, can't be bad to fold 1 pair in the first few levels.
1/2 pot bet flop, 2/3 - 3/4 pot bet turn
don't think its worth turning your hand into a bluff so yeah c/f river.

Probs a fold as it's a DYM... difficult to put him on a hand though, would've thought he'd raise the turn with a set and unlikely to shove the river when the flush and straight completes (unless he has either, although remote imo).  Either way the correct fold I think.

yea defo fold this early on just the curse of gettin big hand that early ;(

Turn and river are really bad cards that not only make straights but lots of possible two pair hands, a shove still gets called by AJ/KJ though but I reckon there's more chance you've went behind and those hands calling is quite a thin value range.

Finally early on you still have lots of time to recover.

    Hi Vespa
Sorry if i'm repeating but i put my opinion then read everyone else's. that way i learn too!!
IMO too small a raise pre. Do you have any info on these players? Some players only play premium hands or flushes/str hands early doors. Bigger raise would get rid of marginals....
1/2 pot raise is sufficient post flop. I/2 pot barrel on turn is acceptable but river is bad card for you as completes flush and straight draws. Once the all-in comes then its a fold....
    There's still time to recover.....

Cheers for all your input guys!

Hi Profman - no info on these players except Dev. and it was the 3rd hand.
I don't usually get involved in hands in the first couple of levels of DYM's unless its been limped to me and i've got a big hand (as above) but that river was just too scary for my liking.
