Sky Vegas

edited May 2012 in Betting Chat
Don't play Sky's Vegas games with too much confidence. Must be about the 17th time i've lost over 500 pounds on blackjack in the most extreme circumstances which makes it to strange to be random. I really wish panorama or trading standards looked into online gaming with a fine comb. BEWARE!

Self exclude yourself from Sky Vegas. It's a waste of £££.

Are you using the "Aroma Euro Yon" system? It doesn't work on Sky Vegas... Try the "A Ray Euro Moon" version, I find it more profitable over 10k + games of Blackjack.

    Good Luck

BIG + 2 It was my downfall for a while. They are only a click away on most poker sites now (roulette and BJ) - even on the tables on some sites - This is probably there biggest revenue but at least on Sky you can exclude yourself for x amount of time - I do it every 6 months.

Nothing worse than a few bad bts and thinking " Oh well i can win it back in 1 hand of BJ or spin of wheel" .

PPl talk about results in poker and profitability and that it must be done over thousands of hands etc

On BJ and Roulette you will never bt it on any site or any Casino

Ps - apart from that guy who won 2.7 mill on  aslot game of a 90 pence spin i think, but ppl see that and think - oo that could be me - Just stay away

I'm glad I'm not the only one who has got suckered into Sky Vegas.  I have had a bad beat or so on poker and thought I could win it all back on the spin of a wheel or BJ like another poster said but just lost more and then tried to bet more to win it back and spiralled out of control.  Lost all my bank roll a couple of times.  Dangerous stuff.

How do you self exclude yourself as I think I should to stop any future weaknesses!

Edit: Just found it! Now self excluded :-)

    Great post btw :-)

What Alfie says "Having said that i was always bladdered when i logged on." Ha me too ,had built up a nice nice £600 bankroll at poker and went onto low stakes !roulette......and from what my records show the next day whilst sober, i got up to as high as £30 a spin on low stakes and had a run of 12 losing spins at those levels and yet on skypoker i've never bought in for a main event (only sattelites) yet when drunk for 3 seconds of fun or if you add up maybe nearly a minute of fun i could have entered a roller tourney a few times! Banned myself from sky vegas now for 6 months.

only one winner in the end up and thats sky vegas, sky poker is totally fair game but i have my doubts about sky vegas, think its a total sham!!!!

BIG +1 to self excluding on Sky Vegas...it's far to easy to lose a lot of money on 'small stakes roulette' and Blackjack. And as earler posts have mentioned, you spend loads on a couple of roulette spins and then hesitate about a £5 or £10 tournament entry which even if you don't win, at least you will have had some value for your money!

6 year self exclusion on sky vegas is totally +ve for poker imo. To easy to tilt into a slot game or roulette. Also self excluded from bingo as sky have started to sneak in casino games which arent covered by a sky vegas self exclusion.
