    It isn't.

    This site is one of the few in the market to be growing....although with this fantastic weather we have been having lately the traffic is bound to die down a tad....just a normal seasonal trend.

    If you do have genuine concerns about Sky Poker then post is in a civil well thought out way.  If you want to be listened to then thats the way to go about it.  

    A thread/OP/post like yours will just be ignored, and the only people who will generally reply is people of that same like minded view.  In fact I dunno why I'm replying tbh...but yeah I don't like to see regular players/posters to be feeling this way about the site that I love so rather than just getting angry put a genuine well thought out post on the GPC/Community Suggestions page and people from Sky WILL read it.  I guarantee you it will be read and forwarded to the revelant people.

    No Sky don't pay me to do this I do it out of the kindness of my own heart

    I think its sad that people get so wound up by it.  I mean if you are really unhappy then just go and play on another poker site.

    Instead what people do is moan and whine and set up facebook groups and come up with ridic rigged theories.

    It just makes no sense.

    Poker is meant to be fun and I'm worried that some people actually have heart attacks over it!

    Also sorry to hear that you think I'm arrogant :(  I really am not!

    Why does the site disconnect me every few seconds,  then sit me out when trying to raise. ?    Not my Computer as its OK in Cash &  free play  Tourneys  only happens in DYMs Sit& Go's   explain ??

    I`d like to think that the Op has just had a bad day, at the end of the day , poker is meant to be a bit of fun.

    When it really starts to get you down then it really is time for a break or take up piano lessons.

    We all like a little moan and groan ( i post in BBV!! ) but it really is all part of the game.

    It grinds my gears when people say that it`s all fixed and i`m off to another site cos my king`s or aces wont get beaten there, go try it & gl !!

    It does hurt when you lose a big pot esp when there`s money involved, win some lose some.

    You are entitle to your own opinion.   However I do think that is an interesting, if not sad, attitude to go through life with.  Try keeping an open mind.  Bad beats happen in Poker,   It's the nature of the game.  Every site I have ever played on has the thing posted about it.  It's fixed, It's rigged etc etc.  The long and the short of is.  It's not.  End of.

    If you really feel that strongly about it, then don't play here 

    Hope you have a change of heart

    oh what a wonderful beautiful life some people have..

    oh quite blissful peaceful life..


    then shock.  they wake up in the real world..

    we should all be happy and enjoy our playing of poker, as this is now and can be in the future a fun game to play.

    i think that a few people are getting a little aggrieved at being 1 and 2 outer all the time.

    i for one am one of these such people and now play my poker on other sites...

    only today i won only 2 hands post all-in situation out of 6 when in front on all 6. that's fine. that's poker.

    keep believing. i got it in good only to get 2 outer in every one of my losing hands.


    this has been happening for 5 months now, variance is swings and roundabouts....  i cant wait for my 5 months of run good...

    as for the traffic about the site..  you again can say which you believe to be true..

    the traffic is down dispite more and more new members..  when i first started on sky there were 4000-5000 playing almost every night..  rain or shine.  i check now and there is nothing like that..

    ryan says this is not so. that is fine..  that is his opinion...

    we all have and are allowed to have an opinion..  it is our freedom ..  it is also our freedom to say as we choose..

    for certain people to think otherwise and stop others from have a freedom of speech is wrongful.. 


    now as for the rng on sky.. my thoughts are known from previous threads in this area, my mind has not changed. i still see the same 1 and 2 outer, the 4 to the flush. the action flops. the straights..  the miracles 4 % chances on rivers....  these thing happen too often for my liking....    that  is why i only play on Mondays now for the team in the dtd...

    i choose to pay my money elsewhere...

    this is my choice and others have done the same..  yet the site is getting bigger and better..  there are alot of newbies on the site..  lets just watch and see how long they stay..


    now i do much prefer to play live poker, but we don't always have the time to spend and be up until 4 am in the casino..  we all suffer bad beats in live poker....   people do say that online poker has more beats because more hands are getting played...  this is an amazing fact , more hands are being played(TRUE) , but not as many hands are being played as other sites and you don't seem to see as many bad beats on them. i shall not name any other sites, this would be against forum rules..

    i today got 2 outer in 2 separate hand in 2 minutes. the odds of that happening i could not be bothered to work out(honestly).  but when i consider there was only 1000 players seated compared to 200,000 on another site, i find it hard to understand such variance..


    as i stated before, i have had 5 months of 1 or 2 outer coming. 

    now sky is a reasonable site, software not the best, lobby very good, community excellent. these are my opinions.
