Sky Poker forums will be temporarily unavailable from 11pm Wednesday July 25th.
Sky Poker Forums is upgrading its look! Stay tuned for the big reveal!
The reason i am posting this is i have just read a post in which someone thinks Ryan can be guilty of saying too much when he is analysing hands on the show.Everyone is entitled to an opinion and i am sure Ryan will listen to feedback from the viewers.
I enjoy listening to all of the analysts on the show and of course they all have their own unique way of getting their points across.
I think that Ryan is excellent in explaining in simple terms what is happening in a hand and helps a recreational player like myself understand what hands to play and what hands to discard.
I honestly wouldnt want Ryan to change anything about his style as he is my favourite guest out of a good bunch, however it is all about opinions.

I hate when I put on a Poker show and the people on the telly talk about poker. That really gets under my skin.
Honestly, some people... You do a fine job Scotty/Ryan. although I really don't think you should be multi-accounting as Spikelad. It's way too obvious when you post something like this...
ps
I am not spikelad
or scotty77
honest
Does a good job in front of the cameras, considering you probably haven't done any camera work before.
Hand Anlaysis is spot on, great for recreational players like me.
Lets be honest. we all have our favourites but i think Scotty77 is a very good analyst who teaches me things. As does Stuart Rutter and the others. It may be a matter of finding an analyst whose advice resonates with your thinking.
I watch a lot of the shows but some time ago the chap who is in Dusk til Dawn(poker pro) was on. What he described in bubble play really resonated with me. Its not to say others are bad. Neil Channing was good(even though he correctly, pilloried a play of mine, as were the Boatman brothers. I just hope Spad3 abovewas trying to be funny because what he is saying is just plain silly ..........Mind you, maybe Anna shouldn't be giving advice out eh?
To be honest, after a nervy beginning just like Jen Mason, i think he's settled down well and given a good, balanced performance. Just my opinion but we're all entitled.
Keep it up.
Seriously though, always a good show when your on Ryan espcially tournament hand anaylsis keep it up
I think Ryan will command more respect once he has beaten NL4.
Which ones Scotty, is he the old fella?
i think scotty77 does a great job, he's ideal for the job.
but it his easy to give advise when you can see the cards
and does read what to say on the autocu
carry on ryan hope to see you at blackpool
he appears well-meaning so i'm going to give him a chance.
i think he likes twix biscuits more than poker if i'm totally honest.
we all need a release though so fair play to the lad !
if people are really unsure they should pm tikay because he was around at the dawn of the industrial revolution and remembers poker before twix ! (old school) (respect)
I think the best bet with Dohhhhhhhh is that he is a phone in guest tho. It's very unlikely he will travel to the studio, i believe he has been asked several times if he would like to go on the show by Sky and declined for his own personal reasons.
Put me in front of as camera and ask me to talk about poker and even if I had Ryans level of knowledge, I can't imagine even doing a quarter of the job that he does.
He might not be as 'bad' as Luke Schwartz but when someone does sometihng terrible, he points it out and explains why it's so bad rather than just saying 'umm, that's probably not the best play there'.
P.S. Would love to see Dohhh on 865 too but sadly I think the chances of getting him on the show are probably worse than me getting on it lol.
