Sunday's live show - with James & Ryan (***OFFICIAL THREAD***)
Hi guys have a great show,
Best bit of advice I can give anyone with regard to Dym strategy, is to read "JohnConnors ABC guide" on the forum, which if I hadn't read there is no way I would still be playing them & in profit.
On a personal note I am really glad that scotty77 is doing the show tonight as I almost certainly will get further in the Lucky 7's than I did on Thursday. :-)

See the Milkman making his last delivery as you leave the Casino!
When the Keyboard on your PC starts melting!
Turn down a night of passion with your partner because you'd rather spend time playing with two penguins a nutter and a yoyo!
or worse
Enjoy a night of passion with your partner whilst at the same time playing with two penguins, a nutter and a YoYo
Enjoy, and can't stop humming Channel 865 background music!
You know you've played too much poker when you can do chip tricks with your mouse.
Have a Good'un James & Ryan
Am up 4 the hour tingy tho won't know if i'm in primo yet til tomorrow as i need to c if i get through sats. 1st Reason being i hardly ever play primo (tho me team-mate Maxally has) & it would b nice to still b in the comp if u should call me.
famous lines from 'Poker Movies' :-)
" i could've been a contender " " by the late great Marlon Brando " & i beleive the film was " On The WaterFront " tho prob. wrong
You know you have played tomuch poker when you wake up with keyboard inprints on your face
When you find yourself shouting "One time! Just one time!" in a £2 sit-and-go and it's not the first time, then you know that you have played too much poker. (See how I changed the sentence around? I don't like repetition.)
Worth a try, lol.
I would recommend anyone who likes a bit of attention/tv tarting to give this a go as it's great fun.. (calling Thomas Dyer! lol)
Alternatively how about randomly picking a very loose player like mickjenn1, who is bound to give you guys entertainment value? although that in itself carries its own risks!
Good Luck Michael and Woogie satting in!
Also when you are home and you decide whether it is plus or minus EV to do a household chore... "hmmm i dont think cleaning the bathroom is +ev at the moment, ill play poker instead and get someone else to clean it!
Tight is right early on, although if you are comfortable playing flops i don't mind widening your range in position, but basically pot control is very important in the early stages, as it's a game of survival. I think nothing of folding AK or JJ or even QQ to an all in when the blinds are 10/20 or 15/30...
In the mid stages, I try to punish limpers and take the initiative to build my stack by min raising and stealing blinds from weaker opponents. (blinds here are usually 50/100 up to 100/200)
The bubble is where the key decisions are made in a DYM and my advice would be to get it in first alot, even with junk, in the right spots, put pressure on your opponents, but targeted aggression. You need to know roughly what your opponents calling and shoving ranges are before making a decision. sometimes it would be correct to snap call one opponent with AJ, but snap fold against another in the same spot on the bubble.
stack sizes are very important when on the bubble, and there are occasions where it is correct to fold monsters like AA if you have the game locked up, or where you call with junk to try to eliminate a short stack by checking it down.
Dyms are fun and profitable, but if you lose a few in a row they can get frustrating! each game is different... some end without you playing a hand, others go to 400/800 or 500/1000!..I have fallen in and out of love with them, but at the moment i love them. P.S never fold a nut flush...
Am happy to have my play analysed and do the phone call, will be good preparation for when I am on the show on Thursday.
The reason why you should have me on is that it will show players on the site that anyone can win one of the Vegas packages....even an aggro monkey like myself!
Matt
you find yourself entombed at your keyboard in a mountain of Twix wrappers
You know you've played too much poker when everything except your partner is in easy reach.
You know you've played too much poker when your children finally believe you that tikay is the fifth teletubby.
You know you've played too much poker when you go shopping with your partner and you make a donk comment, "your bum looks big in that."
I played a game against my local origami club last night. It didn't go well, they kept folding.
If I manage to qualify for the Primo I would love my play analysed for only one reason, it will be the last primo I will be playing in. After SPT Blackpool I will be in semi poker retirement, only playing one day a week, Monday. It would be good to go out with a bang.
Have a great show as always
you know you have played too much poker...
