I know that this has been raised previously some time ago (maybe by Scotty77 but I can't remember) but why do the micro level cash tables have maximum buy-ins of more than 100BB?
I've just been looking round some of the tables and it doesn't make any sense to me
Ludham - 2p/4p - Maximum buy in £10 (250BB)
Calais - 4p/8p - Maximum buy in £10 (125BB)
Antonovo - 5p/10p - Maximum buy in £20 (200BB)
From 10p/20p upwards it seems the maximum buy in is 100BB which seems to be the standard everywhere else.
Personally whenever I play cash I play anywhere between 4/8 & 10/20 and I'm always happy to sit down with 100BB but I can't understand why anyone would sit with many more than that unless it's a specific deep stack table. More so, I don't particularly want to sit at a table where someone wants to buy in for 200BB.
Please can we have some standard buy in tables at the lower levels & clearly state where they are deep stack tables?
What does anyone else think?

Not much of an answer this, but i think sky have just made it a standard £10 max buy-in, which happend to be way over the standard 100bb you refer to. They could have made it £5 which i agree makes some sense, but i think as suggested above, that allowing a bigger buy-in to the table can only increase the rake they take.

like you bob, i really don't understand it. Seems that 100BB is pretty much standard wherever you play, so can't put my finger on why it's different here.
it is very wrong IMO to have this disparity. at the low levels, people are gonna be less experienced and giving them a chance to be playing deep stacked is a bad idea.
if you are a good player, and have a grasp of deep stacked cash play, then sitting with 250bb is gonna be so +ev at those limits.
sky rich did come back with an answer on my thread, ill see if i can find it.
as you can see no real reason given.
ON THE 2P/4P TABLES 100 BBS IS ONLY £4 SO SITTING WITH THAT MEANS PEOPLE HAVE TO RELOAD TO OFTEN AND MAKES FOR LOTS OF AWAYS WHICH IS SOMETHING PEOPLE HAVE SPENT A LOT OF TIME MOANING ABOUT ON HERE SO £8/£10 MAKES MORE SENSE. YOU CAN SEE WHAT AMOUNTS PEOPLE HAVE BEFORE YOU CHOOSE WHERE YOU SIT AND IF SOMEONE SITS WITH 200 BBS AND YOU DONT LKE IT YOU CAN ALWAYS STAND. PERSONALY I LIKE PEOPLE WITH THE MORE MONEY TO LOOSE.
As I've said previously, every other site I've played on have a maximum 100BB buy in regardless of limits unless it is specified as a deep stack table
