Cash table buy ins

edited November 2009 in Poker Chat
I know that this has been raised previously some time ago (maybe by Scotty77 but I can't remember) but why do the micro level cash tables have maximum buy-ins of more than 100BB?

I've just been looking round some of the tables and it doesn't make any sense to me

Ludham - 2p/4p - Maximum buy in £10 (250BB)
Calais - 4p/8p - Maximum buy in £10 (125BB)
Antonovo - 5p/10p - Maximum buy in £20 (200BB)

From 10p/20p upwards it seems the maximum buy in is 100BB which seems to be the standard everywhere else.

Personally whenever I play cash I play anywhere between 4/8 & 10/20 and I'm always happy to sit down with 100BB but I can't understand why anyone would sit with many more than that unless it's a specific deep stack table. More so, I don't particularly want to sit at a table where someone wants to buy in for 200BB.

Please can we have some standard buy in tables at the lower levels & clearly state where they are deep stack tables?

What does anyone else think?
