I understand your frustration playing at the micro stakes. The standard is shockingly bad, any two will do. To many people just killing time calling with any two, as many have said its only a bit of fun. But for anybody trying to grind their bankroll up from nothing you will be constantly up against bad micro stakes players. You have to except it.

A10 is not a great hand. QJ is not a great hand. For example. People see picture cards and think they have an automatic right to win the pot cause they're ahead pre flop. If you had 89 and went all in against 23 would you moan if the 89 didn't hold up? Course not, you'd just see it as a flip. Unsuited broadway cards need to hit something just like any other hand to win. Some of the hands here are just coolers but it doesn't mean they can't be played better.

If you consider yourself a better player than these "donks"....you should be able to beat them?..imo.

if you are struggling at this level give dohhhhhhh a shout,he did a very good 2p/4p strategy guide..

thanks for the feedback guys, but how many of you would have called my raises with the opponents hands, and then called my post flop bets, considering i was leading in 4/5 of them. First hand the guy chases a runner runner then a 4 outer to the river. Surley this is not normal play.

a 10 and qj may not be great but they are still playable, my pre flop fold rate was 59% last time i looked so its pretty obvious i dont call with any old 2, i dont even play 2 suited unless they are high or conected and i dont play low unsuited conectors, should i change my calling range to a bit wider.

59% too loose imo mines 32% and i think thats too loose, nowt wrong with being loose tho as long as you know what your doing

Yes they are playable but i wouldn't say 2p/4p is a normal game of poker. So many people will call huge raises with anything. You need to really play quite tight at this level or you can get sucked out on quite badly.

Just read dohhhh's guide to beating the micros, it will help you beat this level with ease. At the moment youre making so many mistakes, especially pre flop.

To be fair you did play some of the above hands just as bad as the villain however you do take the betting lead alot which is good! The hand when the villain had Q4 I kinda like his play lol however later on you post winning hands where you have stacked others again some hands played poorly but this shows variance in the game your playing. So you can call all the players donks from the first set of hands bescause you lose the hand but are they not the same so called donks paying you off in the latter???

I would call with the 8 3 suited clubs if got to flop and I would raise your donk lead on the first hand to around 60p. If 3 betting AT with that stack I am also getting it in so to answer your question 3!

All your bets seem like your fustrated. Theres nothing wrong with leaving the table for a few minutes so why not, have a breather, If your hungry have some food, If you sleepy take and 5 min nap. I always tend to consider my hunger and fatigue/stress levels before playing.

Segley.......I have been playing sky poker for 3 years. Solid for a year, of which alot of A51 posts were by you. I have not played for the best part of 7 months. I comeback and you are still banging on about the unfairness of it all!!!

Dude, get a grip. Poker consists of a massive factor of luck. Its huge. It is offset by a degree of skill. In order to break even, your degree of skill needs to be better than that of the luck.......and that is just to break even.

there are many people that do this, but you need to understand that they are far and few between. Because if everyone won, we wouldnt have an online site. Now i would suggest........and feel free to tell me im an ****hole, that you and I are not top dogs at this game.

In which case i suggest we have two options:

1: moan and whinge and cry, blame my mum, my dad, the fact i dont know who he is, sky, the river, the unfairness of god and his disiples, my mum again, noobs, more noobs and the fact life isnt fair.

or

2: Accept (finally) that we are not Dohhhhhhhhhhhhhh reincarnate (and neither would we want to be because the guy is a loon......(makes alot of money, but i piddle my pants when he makes a bet and its not my money) and decide that we might be able to get along with the  ups and downs, and enjoy the game for what it is.

 The disadvantage of mad agro play is that everyone knows they can stack you if they hit a gutshot-- this makes 10-1 shots profitable when pot size and implied odds are considered---- innit !--- Good pot control and a solid image makes 10-1 shots unprofitable----you attract your own opponents in this game imo

Coolers happen at all levels of poker. I play alot of 4NL and the other night I had a horrific session, played 5tables for 1hr 30 mins and during that time got in pre with...

QQ v KK
QQ v KK
JJ v AA
TT v AA

Then got it in on the flop twice when I flopped top two pair, both times to walk into bottom set. Sometimes this will happen, you just gotta shrug it off. I sat down for my next session and went back to winning. Play well and it'll come, don't see them playing badly and join in with it.
