I'm struggling to understand...

....why Sky don't just employ monkeys to run their Customer 'Care' department. It would be cheaper for you and we'd get more sense out of them.

I must be running super hot, because in five years I've never had a customer care operative who couldn't answer my query completely.

Well i've tried the email team but the live chat people are useless. Nothing on my system has changed, yet the software suddenly started running really badly. The only suggestion he had for me was to clear my cache and cookies, even though i was playing on the download client.

Technical issues I accepted a long time ago, are almost impossible to solve remotely without a ton of information provided by the user. Ask them to forward your exact problem, ask if anyone else is experiencing the same problem as you, and then compare setups, recent updates etc. Unfortunately, that's nearly all you can do :(

I sent the email team the exact problem with as much info as possible and attached the logs from my sessions that're saved in the registry. Probably all i can do. I'm running a mac and it usually tells you what and when you need to update, and i haven't had to update anything for a bit. Unless some piece of software has auto-updated something that has put it out of skew then i don't see what i've done wrong. Everything is fine on a laptop though.

    This statement is unfair.

Our Customer Care team are excellent and do all they can to help. Please remember that they / we cannot be responsible for how individuals PCs (or Macs) operate. Just because you happen to be playing Sky Poker when you have a problem does not mean it is our fault, especially as we know the site is operating fine.

That said, we do everything we can to help with the information available to us.

You've might have answered your own question in saying that you are working OK on one device but not the other. If you need any further help, do get in touch with customer care as we cannot deal with technical support on the community.

    Thanks
