+1 to this Greg. The live stream was unwatchable for me too. I downlaoaded that software and it's been perfect ever since. You can untick the option to download Google Chrome as well I believe.

In Response to Re: the big drop:
Apparently Russian semi-pro Mikhail Smirnoff folded quad 8s face-up to a river shove from businessman John Morgan in the big drop earlier today. It could be either the worst or the best fold in the history of poker. Hopefully when it's all over Morgan will reveal what he held and we'll know which. I've copied and pasted this from another forum; According to Smirnov, the action started with Tom Dwan opening to 32,000. Smirnov called from the small blind with the 88, and businessman John Morgan called from the big blind. The flop fell Js8c7s. Smirnov bet 50,000, Morgan called quickly, and Dwan folded. The 8s hit the turn. Smirnov bet 200,000. Morgan called instantly. Smirnov said Morgan looked very excited on the turn. The Ks landed on the river, and Smirnov bet 700,000, which was more than the pot of 600,000. Morgan thought about it briefly and then shoved for about 3.4 million total, which was about the size of Smirnov’s stack. Smirnov folded the quads face up. “For me, it was a very easy fold,” Smirnov said. “If he had two kings before the flop he would have re-raised Dwan, because he’s been active and raising a lot. So, two kings was impossible. Two jacks, in theory, was possible.” Smirnov said that he thought jacks full of eights wouldn’t have been such a confident shove on the river. “He was like all-in, no problem. Before he had been playing very carefully and tight.” According to his logic, Morgan would have the 10s9s. The size of the buy-in was not a factor in the decision, Smirnov said. He added that Morgan seemed visibly upset after the hand, giving more validity to the fold.

According to the guys in commentary, Phil Galfond, thought by most to be one of the greatest thinkers in the game, said that he believed that Morgan had the straight flush ~50% of the time here, thereby implying more support for the fold. Interesting one . . .

EDIT: can't remember for the life of me now actually who said that. Thinking Phil Galfond now but if anyone knows for sure . . .

It seems to me like this event was a big success, I wonder if it'll become an annual fixture.

Zero rake charged btw, this was a charity event.
