    Well, now the footie is over, there is no excuse NOT to tune into the show tonight and keep us company. We want you to feel like you are sat on that sofa with us, getting involved in the chat and pulling us up on anything you disagree with.

    Adam Goulding (snoopy) joins us girls tonight, and I really enjoyed our show last week, so let's see if Adam can live up to guest expectation ;) 


    Coming up for you tonight:

    7pm-8pm - Mastercash Live, jump on a table and get your hands analysed.
    8pm-9pm - Ask the Expert - please get your hand IDs in for Jen and Adam 
    9pm-10pm - Sky Poker School - how to play AK at different stages of a tournament. Had any troubles with this??
    10pm -11pm - Chat Box  keeping you up to date with ther world of Poker
    11pm-midnight - Mastercash Live action

    Hi Ladies and Snoopy,
    A question for Snoopy.....

    I've just seen a pic of you from the London Calling T in 2010 on the Hendon Mob site. Nice t- shirt but were the blonde tints a prop bet that you lost or something to distract other plyers at the table?
    Have a look Anna and try to put it up on the show.....as a warning?!! All the best...

    woopsy!!  I am a but dazed and confused today, the show should be interesting :)  It may not be my best performance!
    I have also just accidently wedged a small amount of avocado down between the keys of q and w.  A small snack for Orford perhaps when he is next in :)

     Lets face it much rather be sat on the sofa with 2 gorgeous ladies eating a slice of Hitman's birthday cake than with the Orford / Hartigan combination. 
     Hopefully James will be on the Mastercash tables at 7.00 so Jen can have a laugh!! Sorry I meant analyse his play. xx

    Can i just say how lovley it was to meet Both Anna and Jen in Blackpool. Gutted i missed your first show afterwards. Have a good show tonight. 

    Question: When theres an all in and Jen Mason is at the table does anyone not mistake her for the all in player, or is that just me lol. (Hope jen knows what im talking about) 



    Big Slick is one of the most interesting hands in tournament poker in my opinion. Going to love this segment of the show simply because i don't think that theres a right or wrong way of playing it in so many situations. I think Coxy's AK hand one day one at SPT Blackpool proves this, Many would call, many would fold, neither are wrong i dont think. I remember Tommy grabbed me on the mic for the stream and asked my opinion on the hand and i genuinley didnt know what to answer, i said i call, tommy said a few points and i said well yeah a fold is completely valid if you think you have an edge long term. And then he said Julian Thew agreed with me on the call. I think both points are completely valid when you look at both points. 

    Such as poker, everything is situational.

    Card protector: My daughter made me a salt dough pasty for SPT Grand final last year... She truly knows me and where my heart lies....

    The best card protector I have ever seen was a guy who was sat next to me in a live game.....He took up so much room, even I couldn't see my cards :)

    Strangest card protector I saw: By a rather amusing fellow (no, not me) who used a certain square-shaped foil packet containing a form of protection. Not sure if he always used the same one, I didn't ask what the "use by" date was

    Would imagine eating salt-dough would give you liver failure? 60% salt, 40% flour and baked for 2 hours.  To be honest, I was tempted to have a bite a few times as it had a nice glaze.

    Looking forward to the main and the mini.  Objective tonight is to get to 8:30pm in both!!

    Hope to bump into James tonight - added value?!

    Hi ladies great show as always.
     caption comp, is the person taking the pic saying, "hose him down"
     as for th AK for later, I had them 4 times last night in the £1.10 deepstack and never hit the flop once, I think i did everything right, raised pre then contin bet the board was always flushing or straightening so i think the fold was my only option when I got raised or re-raised, I guess that's just poker

    Hi all.

    Just a quick hand request from the mastercash table earlier.

    Just wondering if this is a wasted bet on the river v a player called J R Hartley or something like that !

    First time ive seen this Mr Hartley player and in all honesty thought he was more of an expert on fly fishing than poker but already got notes on him saying plays every flop and min raises out of position with 9 2 off v 3 players etc etc and also got notes saying do not bluff this guy because this is possibly Stevie Wonders Sky account :) .

    In all honesty though i thought i would request this hand because i thought it was a very good call by James on the river. wp mate.

    just wrote out a massively long post and it logged my out after i wrote it :( sigh. 


    Here goes again. My best card protector story. Not one i seen myself but i read about it in a magainze. 

    A player was on his way to a card room in the US and bumped into a hairless cat which seemed to get attached to him. Followed him to the game and sat next to him throughout a tournament. When it got to heads up one of his cards was exposed by accident by the dealer. 9 of spades. The cat put its paw on the replacement card, and refused to let him look at it. 

    He looked at the card the cat would let him look at (A of hearts) and raised. Oppo called

    Flop A99. 

    Knowing a 9 was dead he bet and got a call. Turn was a 2 again bet called. and river was a King, Oppo shoved into him. Knowing there was one 9 left and the K was out he was spliting v most aces and unlikley to be behind to a 9 so called. 

    His opponent flipped over A9 and the hairless cat removed its paw from the card he hadnt looked at, only for it to be the case ace.
