Vegas is Vegas.....
I am female that has visited Vegas quite a bit and have always felt safe.. Stayed on the strip, or jumped in a cab to Old Town etc etc. There are sooo many people around all the time, that you are surrounded by people. This time of year must be an absolute haven for the 'wrong type' of person, but common sense will do you right. I went five times in one year and yes it is an absolute artifical oasis, but its fab!
