any1 no how much tricket and esfandiari actually won??

edited July 2012 in Poker Chat
I heard they didn't actually have the whole 100% of themselves and sold some of themselves.

I heard that pretty much no-one involved had much more than about 15% of their own action. So I guess Trickett came away with just over 1 milllion but probably only paid just over 100k of the BI

sorry just looked it up sam was sponsored from matchbook for the event and details were not disclosed

tricket will be lucky if he walked away with 10% of that prize.  hardly paid any (if any) of the BI himself and also sold alot of himself.

anyone who actually thinks these people use there own money to buy into these events is just a CLOWN!!

As if tricket is really going to put 1million of his own money at risk against the worlds best poker players LOL  sponsors pay for him to sit

I could play just aswell if I was "freerolling" like these sponsored pros ALL ARE

I am led to believe that Sam had his entry fee paid in full by his sponser and he got to keep 50% of any winnings. MBN.

Sam apparently made $1Mill More than Antonio due to him have "More of himself". The strongest "Rumours" are saying that Antonio had 25% of himself and Sam 50ish% so that wouldn't be far from the $1mil extra for Sam T

This came from a conversation between a few well known poker players on Twitter.

Edit: And that backs up Max's info then.. I heard he had 55% but lets not argue over $500k.....

he freerolls in every tourny pretty much.

if i was freerolling in every tourny i could pull off the moves he does aswell.. totally different story when it is actually your own money though at risk

The true quality poker players are the ones using 100% of there OWN money and winning..  these clowns who just get LUCKY bink a tourny then get sponsored to play every tourny from then on in are just luck boxes

peter eastgate is one of the worst poker players ive ever seen..  OUTDRAW after OUTDRAW after OUTDRAW and he flukes the WSOP M.E and now sponsored to play every event FOR FREE, its unreal..  id beat eastgate HU ffs

isuldur isnt much better.. wins back to back SCOOP events after luck boxing his way through..

shoves all in on a flop of 4 9 J with 10 4 and other guys snaps with QQ and isulsur binks 10 on river,  AK vs A8 he rivers an 8 when all in

flop of 4 8 K rainbow he bets, gets raised and then 4bet jams all in and gets snapped by AA.. he shows the mighty 56o and rivers his 4 outer gutshot on the river

MAKES ME SICK these clowns play like total spewtards get lucky and the poker world thinks they are fecking heroes.

Where is the skill in CONTINUOUSLY getting your money in with less than 20% equity and CONTINUOUSLY getting lucky

MTTs are won by the person who sucks out the most and gets luckiest  ALWAYS WILL BE

any which way it was an awesome FT to watch, i paid the espnpeeps a few quid for quality stream which worked well until 4 handed so missed hellmuth busting but yeah it was so entertaining, played in a stranglely honest open cheerfull mood, very little high tension like u could have expected, loved it, i even managed to put Trickett on quads in his hand vs Rast :)

everyone laid back because none of themwere using ther eown money.  its just a FREEROLL for most
  • edited July 2012
Apparently Jason Mercier declined a 'swap' with Antonio when they both had about 11million in chips.. was only for apprx 2% but still

I heard somewhere (probably from the live stream commentary) that 22 year old Jens Kyllonen (sp?) had 100% of himself. Mbn to have a spare million to gamble with aqt that age.

Sam did not make anything like as much as it might seem. He was in, I hear, quite substantial "make-up", though it is cleared now.

    Delighted for him.
