I only play for fun and i limit myself to playing in competitions that the buy in is no more than £2.20 but last night i thought i`ll give 1 of the timed tournaments a go the £100 guaranteed 30 minute buy in was £5+50P THERE WERE 18 PLAYERS (it was around midnight it started i think) and lo and behold i came 4th and won £14,40 a nice boost to my very modest bankroll does anyone think that it is a good idea if i should up my stakes in tournament play to a slightly higher level or was that just a one off because of the shortage of players taking part. Your thoughts would be much appreciated

if your BR in under £100 you should stick to the £2 mtts thats good BRM

keep it the same till br improves,if you have a gd night buy in again .gl

If you want to have stab at some higher buy in events then play some of the low cost Satellites.  A lot of these are less than £2.
