Beleive it or not your actually wrong.

For one every hand is random!

And for 2 i've been rivered so sickly about 3 times as much than Sky Poker on Full Tilt.

Try not committing so much, remember every pre flop hand is easily beatable.  It aint Sky or online it happens as much live as well specially in the rebuy stages.
  • edited November 2009
darich 2 players had ace queen so theres only 3 queens and 3 aces left and an ace comes ad say am more than 50% to win pre flop
  • edited November 2009
i know it happens live cos i play alot but it dont seem to happen as much live than it does on here

start to worry more when you are all-in with KK and 4 people call with rag A and still an A comes on the flop

    hi
I may be being a bit dumb here but if both opponents had AQ, then there are only 2 aces and 2 queens to come, so the odds on them hitting are reduced, making you favourite pre flop, i think 60/40 but i may be wrong.

Translation: A lot of my mates don't know how to play online poker and I'm now starting to realise I can't either.

lol i cant count yeah 2 aces and 2 queens left. you a pro then jinglema what would you do wi jacks pre flop
  • edited November 2009
If u had been the guy with AQ u'd have been wishing an A or Q to come. It's poker and it happens. Brush yourself off and move on.

Hi Shenny, no I'm most certainly not, however I'm willing to bet you my bankroll that playing on Sky is FAR safer and more reliable than playing live.

Also, the dynamics of playing live and online are completely different. I also know some players who don't "trust" online poker. They just can't adjust their play or outlook to suit online play. Until they do, they'll keep crying "fix".

Best of luck in your future play.

money went in when the hands were at 50/50

you lost a coinflip, doesnt matter where the ace comes, if the moneys all in then it doesnt matter where the ace comes

The odds of you losing in that exact sitaution are 35%.

In other words you will lose 1 in 3 times this occurs.

This has nothing to do with sky poker being rigged.

    It is just simple maths.

Yes I know in this scenario there are only 2 aces and queens to come but my point is, what some people think are horrendous beats are 30% to happen - one player referred to it as a miracle the other day - not quite up there with turning water into wine in my opinion ;-)

I once played an entire tournament without the ace of hearts. This would have made you an even bigger favourite!

No worries Shenny, I know it hurts when you lose.

Google Bill Rini and check out his blog if you still have any doubts about playing online.

    It's very entertaining and informative.

Earlier I had AJ all-in and got called by AQ and AK. I didn't hit on the river. Blummin Sky Poker ;-)

Having said that, we played a game round our house a few months ago.

My friend bought his table top, chips and cards. The beer flowed and so did the poker.

The following morning, I found 3 cards on the dining room floor. Don't know how long they were there for and I still haven't given them back to him.

I bet there are far fewer straights in his home games now!

I am starting to loose faith with sky poker also. I had been doing very well, but last 3 months were a disaster. Was getting a lot of bad beats, could not win any allins preflop my KK's were getting busted everytime ( guy on small blind went allin on my raise i had KK, i called he had 53 they wernt even suited.it was DYM he was chip leader i was second he thought he could push me off hand as on bubble and another guy was very short stacked.it would have left him much worse than short stacked had he lost but he didnt he got his straight. But KK,s were losing to rag Aces and 99. KK was called by 2 guys one hand v A7 and JQs. They both ended up beating me the Ace came up on flop other guy got his flust on turn,i was even dead before the river..I had a run of getting KK beaten 7 times on a run.Had to get away from site for few days, which i think is best after losing streak. Came back and noted ALL the hands i played where i shoved allin preflop. I have done it now 4 times since i came back still cant win. hands were AK (me) v 99 Lost(i didnt hit), AA v Ak lost (flop 8 j 9 he got runner runner for straight), AJ v A4s Lost (he hit flush) AQ v QQ Lost (didnt hit A).I think this is more than bad luck. But will keep trying for now.
