I was 6 tabling last night, was about to go to bed so unchecked all auto post blind boxes and waited for the blinds to come round.  I had closed 5 tables down and was on my last hand of the last table.

I think we can safely say that the villain would very much have preferred it if you had stood from the table prior to that particular hand mahony.

But for the rset of us, a fine example of the value of hanging on and seeing a few free hands before calling it a day.

I tend to disagree after a live £1/2 session where I'd ran my stack up from £100 to £550.

I was about to leave and the dealer dealt me a hand just before I got up, I looked down at KK and got done for a £700 pot.

Boooo the dealer.

My problem is I wait for the blinds to come before leaving, then i think once more around wont hurt and ebfore i know it im on for another hour.

I though it was common practice to wait until you were utg before leaving.

You get to see at least 4 extra sets of hole cards for free.

Sooner or later, you are gonna pick up a playable hand, again, for FREE.

Its the sensible thing to do but its surprising how many dont, esp at low stakes.  That and posting their blind as soon as they sit at the table

I don't mind posting as soon as I sit down, unless I am sitting UTG or utg+1 and would be posting next hand or so anyway.

I tend to watch the table for a few minutes before sitting down regardless, just to wtch the action and to see if it's right for me.

Not that I play much cash, haven't done so for a month or 2.

I remember Dr Tom on PNL saying whenever he played cash , he always looked for the new players who posted the blind upon entering the table, as he felt that it showed them as being inpatient players and thus he could use their impatience to his advantage
