Cancelling Tournament Registration
If you win a seat to a tournament either thru a satelite or a freeroll if you cancelled your registration to that tournament would you be credited with the cost of the buy in. Won a seat to the £5000 guaranteed roller on thursday thru the league stars freeroll along with 19 others, just checked the tournament lobby and 2 players have withdrawn from the tournament, just curious whether they forfeited there seat or recieved the £110 buy in

Some people do buy-in direct to an event and then try to satellite, deliberately with the intention of say getting into the £110 Roller for £20 and then deregistering and getting the £110 back for £90 profit.
If you hadn't bought in direct before winning the seat though, and you de-register you will just lose your seat and get nothing. I just about missed a seat on the night (came 25th) and I did mention I might buy-in direct just before winning the seat just incase I couldn't play the game on Thursday so I didn't lose my prize.
i cannot play thursday as overseas with work
contacted customer service arranged to play at a later date
Thanks for the replies guys i was just trying to work out why you would win the seat and then not play gl ludovician when you do play your tournament,
