readless fold pre

opponent can always be cbetting as a bluff, but it's up to you to be discipined enough to lay a hand down, esp when readless. You get a miracle card on the turn. You played the hand pretty poorly

IMO his raise on the flop was the mistake in this hand . he let u in too cheap . gl 4 rest of tourney.

hes been active 3 x raising pre alot so could of put him on anything on this flop im deffo not folding

I love the classic line: "I put him on AK". What it means is: "I hoped he had AK because that was the only thing I could beat."

If he was so active the best thing would have been to 4-bet pre-flop... Well, actually that would have been second best to a fold, but 4-betting's alot better than calling. If you'd 4-bet shoved pre-flop because he was 3-betting alot and therefore with a wide range, that would have been alot better than how you played it.

Donk, yet again your replies completely contradict each other...

He's been really active, raising pre alot, and yet you have managed to narrow his range down to AK/AQ

What if he has 77+, what if he has AT?

If he's active then he could be raising lots of Ax hands, KQ,KJ,KT,K9, QJ, QT, Q9, JT, J9, maybe J8 and so on and so on. About half the pack is gonna scare you when it comes on the turn.

When you get 3bet with 66 and you're so shallow, it's fold or get it in, and I'm never getting it in, just fold.
