    Hi! Im totally new to this site,but not poker...cash games go on for as long as people keep putting money in,a sit and go you have a starting chip stack,same as all,kinda like a knockout game..when your chips are gone your out! hope that helps :)

    Cash games every hand is played for money hense cash games
    Sit and goes everybody pasys the same amount to eneter the tourny and then the top finnishers are paid out, payout structure varies from type of tournament
