Thought process in an MTT... two hands different thoughts - trying to improve my thought process.

Hand 1. Opponent hasn't long joined the table, i've had one major hand with him which from my point of view was a BBY where he 3bet (i think 3bet is right, i check raised he shoved) shoved A4 on an A23 flop. Sizing on that hand was key to my check raise fwiw. Maybe another interesting hand but dont feel the need to bring it up. Anyways this is my only read, so as a result im treating him as a relative unknown still but bearing that in mind. 

In terms of the actual hand, Im pretty comfortable with pre given stacks around the table, i dont see the need to go larger (everyone between me and SB was pretty short). Maybe im wrong willing to be corrected. Firstly id like to look at sizing on flop and turn. Assessing a range to my opponent thorugh the streets i feel extremely weak on. And how do we play a pretty wet river ?

Hand 2. This hand is slightly less reads based. Firstly SB has been a serial bluffer, he also seems to have a very wide range and little concearn for fold equity. The origional raiser can also squeeze i think. As a result ive tried to under-rep my hand to get a bigger pot. I thought at worst just the UTG raiser calls and i have posision post flop. Inparticular throughout this hand i want to look at my thought process. Ive cut out the result as i feel its irrelevant to the discussion.

hand 2 dont see any problem...your getting your money in pre with KK? and dont think raisisng the short stack shover would be good idea, flat induces action behind ya which you get so surely this is good, obv dint think it would be a donkathon all in 4 way but just pray you hold

I would bet/fold hand 1 for about 4,134.11 with those stacks, I would be happy with hand 2, and I would say thought process less often in thread titles .

edit ^ also bet turn bigger hand 1, especially if you're planning to check back rivers such as that 1.

Hand 1: "...(everyone between me and SB was pretty short). Maybe im wrong willing to be corrected." - Very well, I will correct you: The guy on your left is Giant811. He is not short, as you know.

Definitely bet more on the turn. After your 2/3 pot bet on the flop you should continue with that amount on the turn. If you're going to bet more on one street than another, then it's usually better for your bet-size to ascend through the streets, rather than descend. Otherwise maintain a consistent line.

I probably check back the river. You certainly could be called by weaker one-pair hands but it's thin. You'd only be looking to be called by a Ten, really. You'd expect most players to fire the river if they'd hit their flush, rather than let you check it back, but that doesn't rule out him check-calling some two-pair or scared straight.

Both hands i actually spoke to 2 other players privately. Hand 2 i got 2 different responces, on saying i should be risk averse (shove in otherwords i think) and the other saying i played it well. I decided to clinic it to get broader responces on my thinking during the hand. Ty for positive comments.

Lol @ Giant comment. Yeah hes not that short lol.
