Quick idea...on the home page where there are tabs for My Account/Deposit/Withdraw/Bonuses/My Profile would it be possible to add a facility to let you know if you have any unread messages?
If you had say two unread messages then they could be shown next to My Profile (2), then people can see at a glance without having to open up the My Profile tab.
Just a thought....
