I know I won the hand, In future though would this be a loose call? The main reason I called was because I asked myself if he had a set why would you not value you it more? If I was wrong I had a flush draw.

Not sure I'd call if he hasn't got out of line before.  Then again I'd never assign 35dd as part of his range so what do I know?

Depends on the player, a fish will never value open shove 29 into 10 OOP with Qx but might do it with AA.. on this board.  Basically they are just completely ignoring the fundemental theroum of poker and trying to win a pot with AA instead of being prepared to fold the worst hand if he needs to, even if it is the best preflop hand in the game.


They might however raise shove when you bet the turn OOP and they are left to act behind you with Qx.

Basically be suspicious of players that shove all in,,, its normally a bluff or nuts... and usually the nuts is a "sized bet" instead of a shove all in.
