The Mental Side Of Poker

Everyone talk about the hands and what bad beats they got and so on, but lately iv really been struggling with the mental side.  I mainly play cash and my overall play has been good enough to be profitable, but lately im just struggling im losing interest when im playing and im getting annoyed when my hands arnt hitting and its making me lose money, so is there anything you can do to actually correct this?

as the others have said read the mental game of poker ... great book
i also find that if im running badly drop down the stakes and play ABC poker for a little while can help bring your confidence back.

Hi Robbie

If you're losing interest and its affecting your game then you're definitely tilting. Why not take a break for a week and get your interest/enjoyment in the game back. The book is very good and will explain whats happening as well as giving you strategies to counteract tilt but its not a magic wand and will need work from you. Good luck
