So after such an amazng line up on Tuesday night's show, tonight it's just the 2 of us! (no offence Reds) What more do you need!?
We are live from 7pm as always, and we woud love for you to join us, even if you do have one eye on the sport!! We only need one of your eyes!!  Multi-tasking is the way forward!

7pm- We kick of the show with a timed tourno (already in the lobby) 600gtd, £5.50 buy in, 30 mins and it starts at 7.10pm
8pm- Poker Clinic needs your love... send in hand ids 
9pm - Poker School- sees us looking at playing against large chip stacks in MTTs. How can we use this to our advantage!?
10pm - Top of the Pots..10 biggest Cash hands
11pm - Sky Poker Highlights...hands from the main event tonight the 12k Bounty Hunter.

I am off to Hamburg in the morning, which means a dreaded flight!? eeeeek, why do I hate flying so much!?  
Does anyone else have a fear that they know is irrational?  My most stupid one is a fear of the dark!? how old am I!? 

Anyway, I think I will be giving away, no sorry Reds will be giving away a free seat into the 6k Open on the 14th August, for the best contribution to the show tonight.

    Anna.  There is absolutly no need to fear flying.  It is by far the safest form of transport and you are far more likely to crash on the way to the airport then you are on the plane.  Hamburg is only a very short hop away and I'm sure that there has never been a plane crash there.  Before you go watch a good film to settle you down.  I hear a film called "alive" is good for this as its about a plane journy.  Never watched it myself but I'm sure its suitable. 

    Now a fear of the dark is another matter and is totally rational.  Once the lights go out you can never be sure whats there!  Spiders, Snakes, Scorpions, Orford, The boogyman in short, absolutly everything and anything.


    As for your question about how old you are, all I can say is that both you and Redmond don't look a day over 21.

    hi Anna and Reds

    have a great show. im sure it will be very entertaining and informative.  as to irrational fears...

    i am terrified of having a hand shown on tv where i have not played well.  i play the mini fairly regularly and never do very well in it because i am so keyed up about trying to make sure that i play in a manner that would prevent  tikay from ranting at me.  however, i still enter cos it is such good value and good practice at disciplin lol

    i am also terrified of midges (mossies) and scotland has loads of them!  i was badly eaten by them a few summers ago and looked like a spotty teenager with cauliflower ears for two weeks. shudder! seems we have a fear of wings in common lol

    onwards and upwards :-))

    Hand from last nights double stack i made a 3 bet with kk the original raiser called then the guy who had originally called his raise 4 bet i then decided to 5 bet with kk and the flop came a33.  I didnt like the ace so i checked it to him and he jammed.  I felt like he could be doing this with air some of the time and i called.  Should i have folded the jam or are do you think the same as me that he we could be ahead a lot of the time.     I have an irrational fear of pandas falling through the roof of my house because Im not sure if Im Insured for such an incident!

    ps It would be less irrational if there was a local panda hand gliding club but there is not!

    I have a kind of irrational fear of going anywhere on sea (ie on ANY vessel that floats on water...). Probably derived from my fear of being submerged in water and my inability to swim (which is a wonder in itself given that if anyone should be able to float, its a 55kg 5ft 7 bloke?!). 
    Disclaimer - its a fear of being totally submerged in water (head to toe).. I can still take a bath and sit in a hot tub (although its not a pretty sight for aforementioned reasons lol)

    Please dont consider this entry for the 6k open thing tho. Grateful enough for todays free tournament entry :D

    i have a irrational fear of prawns ..... when i was 6 years old my uncle snuck a king prawn into my coat pocket and when i pulled it out he told me it was a baby alien !! apparently i screamed the house down and ever since i have convinced myself they are waiting at the bottom of the sea till there time comes for world domination

    Im not sure my fear is irrattional however as i suffer with a form of Anxiety i have a massive fear of heavily populated places of mostly strangers. Id never have gone to an SPT if it wasnt for joining TKP. Thankfully since number 1 in Leeds last year everyone made me feel so welcome i just cant get enough of SPTs though. Really struggle with nights out and even just large social gatherings.

    I have an irrational fear of beards.  It's why I don't own a mirror.  My other totally rational fear is brocolli.  IT IS POISON!  There is no other word for it!  Do not eat it!  My kids on the other hand love it, go figure

    think i played this bad as i didnt get maximum value i should of raised the turn but i didnt raise as i didnt want to get reraised or shoved on as it would put me in a tricky spot any advice would be great thanks

    Hi Anna going for Gold with Sweetie Pie Red.?  Just two tonight to hold the Fort.   Have a great show as always as I will be watching.   Your fear of flying ...... book a window seat .........  your fear of the dark ........ if you can't see them, they can't see you.    I have no phobias as such and will hold snakes frogs Spiders slugs almost any creature as long as it wont bite me. I fed Crocodiles in Australia and  had python snakes round my neck, so when my neighbour asked me to cut down my patch of stingy nettles I grow to encourage Butterflies,  because he had a fear of Moths  Hubby and me just Laughed.   He was not amused and when I said there are no moths in the nettles,  he shook then and out came four tiny little things.  Well off he went as if Freddy Krueger was after him.  Hubby and me were in hysterics he shouted over the fence " It's Not Funny."  So here was a grown Man with a fear of Moths.   After we realised he was serious I had Hubby cut them down.  Have you thought about going by sea.  Just a thought.  Hugs Annie xxx

    hi anna, reds....

    when flying it will help if you know the survivable height. 

    catastrophic failure above the survivable height, say 100m above the ground, is not survivable and therefore you need spend no time worrying about it.

    catastrophic failure below the survivable height means the plane will meet the ground at an oblique angle and you will walk away.  so no worries there.

    therefore, once you know the survivable height you need spend no time worrying about flying.
