Has the Thews at ten been cancelled going forward or just postponed for this week please?

The Thews at Ten in its current format has been cancelled. We're chatting with Thewy to do something similar in the future, so it won't be the end of the chance to donate to YoYo

Dave, the 2 £5.50 velocity tournaments at 10-10pm (500gtd) and 11-15pm(250gtd) have also gone. Both rebuys.

Tourney schedules at the moment are being looked through DOHHHHHHH, so if you've spied some tournaments removed that'd be why. As well as some being removed, there are additions to the schedule as welll as some GTDs being bumped up.

There's now only 1 £5+ turbo tournament between 6pm and midnight (well, that's the only 1 all day)....

Wouldn't it be a better idea in future to take down features/tournaments once replacements are ready to go in, rather than to bring them down, wait 2/3/4 weeks/months and then come up with a replacement?

Same has happened with the poker league......

We need sizeable turbo MTTs!!!

It's not a case of waiting weeks/months DOHHHHHH - the work is being done now.

Although it is nice to take julians chips from time to time. It's not the fact that he's in it, but the whole structure of this tourny which was ideal.

Ok, maybe without Julian in it, it may not reach its 1K GT but this could be addressed by renaming it, reducing the guarantee and keeping the same structure.

I loved the fact that it had a 4K starting stack and a single re-buy. Is there any chance you can offer us something similar? even without him or rename it SOLLY @ 10

Make it nightly ideally, remember it clashed with a velocity 10 minutes either side of it (rly silly imo)

This is the 4th Tuesday since Thews@10 (and the 2 other turbo mtts) were taken down.

Lucky 7s have since gone too.

Now no turbos @ all, any replacements coming anytime soooooon plz?

Why not bring back the original velocity?..........£5 buyin...1k gtd.......never failed to reach its gtd and lot more fun......

there used to be some great tournaments on here and some great value. shame to see what i consider to be so many poor changes to the schedule.

It is never going to be possible to give every individual everything they want, I'm afraid.

The Tourney Schedules were changed during the summer period in line with keeping balance during that period.

With traffic now picking up again rapidly, as expected with the onset of Autumn, many Tournaments which had disappeared during the Summer will return, sometimes "as was", in other cases, refined, revised, or just plain different. This won't happen instantly, changes will be ongoing.
 
By chance, in this morning's weekly M-M, we discussed at length the return of a Thewy-based weekly Tourney. The current thinking is more inclined to a freezeout than a rebuy/add-on, as previous, but the final decision has not been made.

A nightly version, as noted by Solly, & +1'd by others, will not be possible, as we cannot ask Thewy to commit to being on site 7 nights per week.

Hi Tikay.
This is quite understandable, however, as far as I understand it, it was the structure of the tourny the players wanted to keep and on a nightly basis, rather than the fact that Mr Thew (as much as we like taking his chips) was in it

The structure of the tourny - Buy in, Starting Stack, Single Re-Buy etc was perfect and may be quite popular even with no guarantee.

With it being the holidays, I've looked to play more mtts on Sky. Couldn't do it though unfortunately! 

I don't mind playing turbos, deepstacks, normal f/outs etc but it seems its all about the Bounty Hunter or satelittes.  This is the same during the day or the evening schedule and is extremely frustrating!!!

£10+ tournies with or without a guarantee would work just fine............in the past the original velocity and the Monday night £22 deepstack tournies were very popular with the regs on here so why not try them again??
