Fold to river shove?

edited August 2012 in The Poker Clinic

This isn't a bad beat post (OK maybe a little!). If anyone would like to offer any opinions I would be grateful.

10/20p cash and blind on blind. Nothing big had previously gone off, but didn't really have any read on x.

Flop call I thought may have been top pair kind of hand or even a float, but call on turn wasn't really sure on. Obviously a great card for me so turn bet a little small, but wanted to keep him in. River bet is again for value, but then the over shove kind of came from no where.

His 2 previous street calls show no sign of a draw really, but when he shoves the river is it always the straight? Can I fold or is a set just too strong and too often the best hand? All constructive comments welcome.
