I think Mondays are pretty good with the DTD to be honest :p  but not a bad idea anyway.

    Afternoon all!

    Normally Mondays are a bit rubbish*, right? Well, today is going to buck that trend as we've got a new promotion for you to enjoy - all you have to do is TRY and win the Jackpot. 

    All of the details are on the Jackpot Freeroll promotion page, but the basic idea is you get 1,000 chips for each day you play both the Mini and Main, up to a cap of 5,000. Those chips are used in the Jackpot Freeroll, where there's £1,000 up for grabs. Simples!

    The only question is - how many chips will you be trying to carry into the freeroll? Worth earning the max or do you think you can short-stack ninja it with 1,000? 

    * - with the exception of the Forum DTD, obviously!

    Here's an additional twist for you, too - the payout structure is going to follow the one which was most popular in our recent Community poll....

    *** The top 20 players will ALL win £50 each ***

    Very fair comment, Lambert! Mondays have been statistically proven to be the most rubbish day of the week though.

    I think a lot of the forum DtDers Dave would disagree but I dont think the day you choose really makes any Difference, as per usual no day will suit everybody. 
    But when it comes to stack sizes obviously you have players who play the Main almost every night & others who like my self will play the Main as often as we can satellite in. I dont understand why anybody who plays the main doesn't already play the mini at the same time.
    A nice idea & I hope the response is better than the previous freeroll .

            Have to disagree with you Dave, as Monday Night is a great night if you are playing Forum DTD, why not give it a go you'll be pleasently surprissed & it only costs £5-50 for 3 Tourneys now that's Value.

    Sounds Great Promotion, but unfortunately maybe Sky's most loyal customers from across ALL levels are busy with 3 DTD tournies on a monday!!

    I Suppose another table to multi wont make much difference, [will fak me up], but arn't these also the same people who play mostly main & mini's too!! But Hey...You know your customer base better than me!!

    Careful tho, alot of US, me included,  are proud of what we have built together on Mondays!!

    I aint that petty to worry about it, hope others take same view!!

    SO MONDAYS AINT SO RUBBISH THEN, lol !!!

    GL Mate, Flak Jacket at ready!! I dont need One, as I'm fookin Bullet-proof!!


    PS IN CASE NO-ONE NOTICED....FULHAM ARE TOP OF THE PREMIERSHIP!!!

    Nice one Sky, this Freeroll idea sound much better than the previous one.

    I echo what other have said regarding the clash with the DTD which is a bit unfortunate but can understand why Monday makes sense too.

    It was very much meant tongue-in-cheek, Lee. Mondays on Sky Poker are spoilt with the Forum DTD as you guys know. The rest of Monday (going back to work, so far from the weekend, etc) is the reason for the one-liner.

     Even though you did not mean to be offensive with your remark I feel you clearly have been, if you insist on making such ill judged remarks you may be banned from the forum and also under the new rules also from chat!

    Just repeating what I wrote up there ^^^, I didn't say DTD was rubbish, I said Mondays normally were. Obviously Chris and Michael do a cracking job on the Forum DTD and we appreciate that - hence why we put the prizes in for it.

    I still think Mondays are the most rubbish day of the week though, DTD aside!

    DTD is good like, but there's 150 people in DTD normally? (of which I am often 1). Thousands on the site. 

    DTD players make up <1% of people who play on the site on Monday nights. 

    (Unfortunately for Dave, they make up 100% of the people posting on this thread)

    I agree Monday nights are 'abit rubbish' for tournaments, not 1 proper turbo tournament all night, no L7's, Thews@10, or even Standard velocities :(

    Main & £110 are both BH's :(

    Would prefer proper tournys to be added though, rather than freerolls.............

    Jeez, who'd have thought this would kick up such a stink, I was only joking with my original post, hence the ':p'

    Obviously Monday's are good fun thanks to the DTD but this is a FREE tourney, if you don't like it, don't play in it, if you do, then do :)

    EDIT: Also, I think it's pretty obvious the rubbish mondays comment was a joke, I don't know many people who work a mon-fri, 9-5 kinda job that don't say they hate mondays. It's the end of the down time, and back to 'the grind'.
