WHERE ARE THE REBATES OR THE SOFTWARE UPDATE

So are we going to fix the software anytime soon?


OR are you going to start giving rebates for all the times the issues occur and cost us money?


I've obviously just folded top set with no draws out. THAT IS CHEATING IT'S CALLED COLLUSION. except it's sky poker doing it by just randomly lagging out, it's been ridiculously slow today and this is hardly the first time it's cost me 
£>100.


Adding up the number of times the stupid betting glitch has wagered the bulk of my stack and how often it times you out before you can act in any way i'm very sure it's cost me >£1k.

Any danger?!

    Ouch Beaneh, and to think I was annoyed the other night when lag made me fold AKs pre lol, top set definitely wins.

    What customer care?  I emailed them about a disconnection problem 15 days ago.  They didnt respond.  I had to email them again last night about a seperate problem and asked them politely when I could expect a response, they ignored it

    they don't work for poker so have no clue what they are doing or saying. they can be generically helpful for questions etc but given that i've brought up the betting entry problem (provided videos etc!) and yet nothing gets fixed and day in day out sky punt my money off. when i'm more than capable of doing that myself.

    it'd be nice to get this fixed or have sky say you know we cost you all this money so here you go have it back when it's our fault....

    That's shocking! If this ever happens to me i woulld go to the very top of bskyb. Sky already makes a fortune off people.

    If you are a priority member Beane. (assume u are?) .. call the priority customer care line... you should have more joy that way and and u can request a call back from mr boss.

    This would be seen to set a rather dangerous precedent....priority members get things sorted....ordinary joe's suffer...not good

I've worked for many companies with corporate customers, and the ones that spend £10 million per month get superbly looked after and taken care of at every point, the companies that spend £500k per month, don't so much.

    You go business class on a flight, you will get treated better than if you went economy.

    You go to a posh restaurant and you're David Beckham, you'll get treated better than if I turn up.

    The people in priority spend a ridiculous amount in rake on the site and arguably, rightly deserve more attentive treatment. In a given month, I might give Sky £100 in rake, some players give them £1000s every month. I won't complain if they get more benefits.

    I certainly don't complain that the priority get more benefits, They totally deserve them and I admire what they do. However, a problem that Is affecting all levels of players needs sorting quickly. For one and all.

    Hi beaneh, The random logging out happens to me if i play at home between 8pm and 10pm. Can happen bout 8 times in this period. I was putting it down to an internet problem,  which BT have admitted too. Ive not played other sites, i mite do so to see if its just sky poker, cause i do notice no lights go out on my modem when it happens.

    well yeah ok, that's a fair point. The basics like working software, should be as standard. I'm not sure about them getting compensation etc but they'll probably get an apology more readily, for whatever good that is.

    If you only get these problems in the evenings between 8 and 10 (the busiest times for internet activity) then I would suggest your ISP is throttling back your connection because they are overloaded

    I gather that some people are getting these problems at all times of day. I found switching from a wireless connection to an ethernet cable direct from my pc to the modem gave me a far more stable internet connection. The downside is I can only play poker in one location in my house

    I had similar problems when using BT. Switched to virgin media and never had an issue again since. I am aware of BT in certain areas doing the above

    Can i just point out i wasn't saying that priority customers have more chance of getting a rebate in circumstances like this. I believe in fairness for all no matter what stakes you play..

    I was just saying that one of the benefits advertised HERE is..

    When you join the priority club u get an e-mail with their direct contact number. The priority manager has resolved a couple of issues for me previously (unrelated to this)

    I was just suggesting that Mr Beane use this benefit that's all!

    The answer to any problem is to direct them towards people who can't sort the problem.





    WAIT WAT


    How is that going to help, we both know customer care don't know or understand anything to do with the poker side of things, we both know they would do nothing to rebate money in these circumstances, we both know that the software has needed attention for years.



    The SKY SOFTWARE is costing us money and we can't even get any dialogue with sky?!

     I applaud you Sir for this comment, it needed to be said and surely this is what forums are for. 

    Not to be silenced and ushered out of the shop when you dare complain that you feel you are not being treated fairly and compassionately. If you go through the proper channels and your case/issue hasn't been treated to your satisfaction then it is a fact of life that we shout it out for everyone to hear, that way we gauge whether it is a one-off or if it is endemic. 

    I honestlyy believe that all this closing of threads of genuine grievances is doing more harm than good to this community and Sky bsb being a reputable company, should continue to encourage such debate openly........Billy.

    i had the same problem a few months back.. i loved sky poker it was by far my favourite site to play on, but after numorus phone calls to cs and costing me money i left and withdrew my roll..

    im not a big player so sky prob aint even noticed... the only way they will is if a few of the clique (bigger players) did the same!!

    the software lets you down and all you get from cs is "no one else was affected at the table therefore it is your pc fault not ours"

     As I have said in other threads relating to this and other problems. Its your money spend it where you want. There are plenty of alternatives out there and as in any competitive market place the best all round value for money product for each individual's needs will eventually be the customers preferred choice.
