Morning everyone hope you all well
this is not meant to be a moan, i am having a few problems with variance, i have hands that get beat, now this might sound silly, but what i mean is flush on flush i would have king flush only to get beat with the ace. this sort of thing happens regularly, i bet good with set, only to get beat with a strait, 4-6 off say and get filled.
i am asking what i can do, i play on 2-3 tables to try and even it out. or should i persevere and wait till its my turn.
if i get any response to this i might be able to add to my question.
good look everyone.

Glen

one of the best things you could do is post some hands in the clinic, that way the top guys can give you some advice on how the hand was played and also if you could of avoided the hand etc. Good luck and run better

Sounds like you've just run into some coolers.  Why don't you post some hands up inteh Poker Clinic.  Good free advice there

the type of hands you are talking about you just cant get away from, house over house and flush over flush unless for instance is a double paired board and you have bottom end or a four suited board and you have a small card, but you just cant fold 2nd or third nuts those hands are winning more than losing.

Thanks for your advice, i will start to look at my hand history, see where i am loosing, see if there's a pattern, it might show that's it probably me but i can only learn from it.

    Good luck and enjoy yourselves

Get into the habit of looking over your sessions everytime you play. Also don't just look at your losing hands, also study your winning hands.

Sometimes its can be your own bet sizing which gets you into trouble, sometimes its bad lack the first you can alter the second will change of its own accord.
At least you have the right attitude of looking for solutions rather than blaming others. GL at the tables.

    hi G
    good advice from everyone,
2 to 3 tables won't even out variance imo you need to be playing alot more maybe 10+.
bet sizing will probably need to be bigger especially b4 the river.
the way i now look at it is how i do each month rather than individual sessions.
if you can make some sort of profit then you know you are doing most things right.
    gl buddy
    :)
