Jackpot Freeroll - Stats...

edited August 2012 in Poker Chat

Hi everyone

Now we've had our first Jackpot Freeroll awarding the top 20 players with £50 (£1,000 total), here's some quick stats that might interest you. It shows how many people had which starting stacks and how many cashed etc:

 Chips Players% of FieldCashed% Cashed% of Cashers 1000 22561.8% 73.1% 35.0% 2000 7219.8% 45.6% 20.0% 3000 369.9% 25.6% 10.0% 4000 143.8% 321.4% 15.0% 5000 174.7% 423.5% 20.0% Total 364100.0%205.5%100.0%

So as you would expect, the people with more chips had a higher rate of cashing.

Interesting that there were as many cashers (seven) with 4,000+ chips as those with 1,000, even though there were just 31 of them playing vs 225 with 1,000.

Obviously this is from just a sample of one event but interesting nonetheless.

Thanks

    Interesting stat post TBF.

To look at it another way though, more players cashed who had the smaller starting stack than the bigger starting stacks.

Very true but there were a lot more of them too.

Looking at the numbers, you are over seven times more likely to cash with 5,000 chips as you are with 1,000. The great thing is that it shows that you still have a chance no matter what stack you have, it's great for us that people managed it with just 1,000.

As the other poster pointed out, it is a just a sample of one event (albeit with 364 runners) but we thought you'd be interested to see this.

    Thanks for the feedback.
