1 fold pre. Prob c/f flop

2 fold or raise bigger pre. C/f river, as played snap fold to the raise

    1. Fold pre, never ever call the shove on the flop.

    2. Fold pre, if you wanna play it,make it 16p. C-betting flop is fine, firing again on the turn when you pick up nut flush draw is fine, check/fold the river.

sit with full buy ins if you can

    stop overvaluing weak aces

    stop min raising

HAND 1 is AWFUL. 3-betting raggy aces as out of position as you can get against a 4x open. You're short stacked so have zero fold equity against a decent hand.

Even if opponent hadn't housed up it would still have been awful. You had a gutshot and needed to go runner runner for the nut flush. I don't know how to calculate runner runner odds but the odds of hitting a 2 were 17%. I'm discounting the overcard as an out because it's too likely your A is dominated.

Just look at it like this - if you hit your ace and he shoves, you're never gonna be able to confidently call.

HAND 2 - same again. This clarifies what i said about hitting the A. Yes you were ahead this time until the river but you couldn't ever know that. Why are you 3 betting OOP with unsuited ace rag in one hand, then min betting with decentish position with Ax suited in another? No consistency, but the best way to play these hands at these levels is to fold them pre flop.

Also i don't think the rest of you saying 'fold pre' is really of any help to anyone if you can't make them understand WHY they need to do these things. Like people will post in the clinic things like 'he's never doing this with a J' without explaining WHY he wouldn't etc.

Not a dig just an observation of how we can make this portion of the forum better for newbs like myself.

Hand 1 fold pre a min 3 bet from the sb is never going to get anyone to fold especially at 4 nl.  Then your calling with ace high on the flop is really bad.

    Hand 2

Raise should be 3x pre.  Bet bigger on the flop.  I dont bet river i check call some of his flush draws have missed.  When you bet river then get raised he is never bluffing in this spot dont understand how you decide to reraise again the extra 44p.  Its a fold when we get raised but soming over the top of that with 1 pair with 6 kicker is really bad.
