Tournament big stacks

I have a general question regarding seating arrangements. Why are all the big stacks in tournaments always put together on tables. In any live tournament I've played it's always been the big blind on a table that they're moving a player from that moves.

This benefits the short stacks and has the opposite effect on big stacks. Surely the big stacks deserve to be mixed it with the average/smaller stacks once they've earned their stack. Otherwise the punishment for a bad beat is worse as you're sat with equally large stacks.

Not to mention the effect it has on bounty hunters, all the value you miss on head prizes. you're sat playing with the other large stacks whilst everyone else is knocking each other out and getting bounties

I never come on here to complain about anything but I think the unfairness of this is something which really needs to be looked at as it costs players tournaments and money.
