    This is read dependent, but given the fact that he raised from the sb, I cannot see him actually holding 55, 77, 99 so it looks very much as though he has AAxx with some flush draw, made his flush on the turn and then scared off once the board has paired. If not, then he's flopped the straight with some 5678 kind of run hand.

    With no reads, im checking back.

    What are you putting him on? and if it is a set then why arn't you raising the turn to charge him to draw incorrectly?

     Couple of things jump out with this hand so i will go through it step by step.

     Preflop: His raise is meaningless because the correct move from the sb in this situation is raise or fold. This means he really could have any 4 cards. Your hand is not brilliant but quite good so seeing a flop was the right thing to do.

     Flop: Hitting the gutshot and NFD you have got about as much as you could have hoped for here. I personally dont like your call here and would much rather see a raise to build up that pot for when you hit your card and make sure of a big payday. So for me i would like to see a raise to about 3-00. If he repops then you should be willing to get it all in there and then because you are that strong.

     Turn: Bingo, dream card. You have the nuts and someone beting into you doesnt get any better. The main thing to remember here is that you have the dead nuts though. Although you have the best hand there are no cards that can come out which will improve your hand and only cards that can outdraw you can arrive(apart from blanks). You have to be getting money in here to make the most of it. Anyone with a set here is drawing to 10 outs and so you need to take away the odds of them hitting one of them.

     River: Bad card for you as it completes a lot of things. Whether to bet or not depends very much on the opponent and how they rate their hands. Realistically i cant see a straight or weak flush paying you off here so would be a very bad player indeed who pays you off with a weaker hand than yours. Always the possibility of course that the river is his dream card and is hoping to induce with the check here.For me i would check back here because i dont think the value is there.


     The real problem with this hand though is not the river. You have got yourself into a tricky river spot with poor decisions on the flop and turn. You should have raised flop willing to go all in with a very good chance of getting action at this stage. Turn definitely should be big raising even though it does turn your hand face up. You have lost 2 good streets of value in this hand and then left yourself thinking about a marginal value bet on a scary card.

    thanks for your advice talon make some good points the reason i didnt raise the turn is if i raise and the river came like it did id be gutted yougo is very aggresive so if i raise the turn im basically face up and yougo would of called as like i said hes been very active and i think he would of bluffed me of the river this way by calling its disguised  and river i bet £3.80  yes very thin value but i got a call yougo must of had king flush   and tnz double aa for your input

    One thing I've learnt from Talon posting here about Omaha, is the fact that because it's a drawing game, you will always be getting your value on the flop and turn, and not on the river. By the turn, you have the best possible hand but which is easily outdraw and you're giving him the chance to do it for free.

    If he's aggressive then surely all the more reason to raise when you have the nuts.

    How profitbale is playing PLO on Sky anyway ? NLO surely is better versus bads

    + I don't like raising flop, we ain't that big a fav versus sets - why flip if you have an edge
    deffo raise turn, even though it turns your hand face up :()

    nice to see some more active PLO tables on sky xD

    its opponent dependant but vs most villians you should be value betting there wen opo checks river (fold if opo reraises :p). calling flop is fine, raise turn for value
