Good luck mate.  Hope it goes well and keep us updated.  FWIW I once did a similar thing to my BR a couple of years ago.  Haven't been near to those kind of games since.  Stick to poker and you'll be alright!

    interesting read and good luck to you.

    may i suggest that self excluding from the vegas part of the site would be a good option to take away any temptation to obliterate your roll at the blackjack tables should those tilt issues arise again

    Hmm format looks familiar. Best of luck! It's a lllooooooooonnnnnnggggggg path.. My advice is to block yourself from all of Skybet/Skyvegas etc, so you can't monkey tilt ridiculous amounts away (doing this has saved me many times).

    good to hear about being banned from vegas.

    you probably did play against me as i played nl4 for a long time, won a fair bit and stepped up to nl10 where im currently battling to make progress of a similar nature.

    A very good read i must say i come from the same kind of background tbh i think alot of people have who play poker take shots and get tilted and u just cant win playing with scared money it affects u mentaly anyway i wish u the best of luck in your new challenge i find as long as i play poker i enjoy it doenst matter what stakes they are better then being skint and not paying at all so start from the bottom and work ya way up im sure u can do it and good luck :)

    copy and paste your hands if u want advice onto the poker clinic and if u are playing on a cash table with a tv icon copy n paste the id and put it on tonights show they might show it if its a hand that u might find yaself in a tricky spot so worth talking about

    i also advise playing small mtts for abit of fun small stakes and nice profit if u manage to bink 1 and on a monday they do a dtd 3 mtts for £5.50 stake and can win a £33 seat

    Very entertaining read. Probably should be up for Top Of The Posts (stickied at the top of the General Poker Chat section of the forum) and if not i'm going to nominate it so some sort of tourny entry or something could be coming your way.

    You playing NL4 then i take it?

    I've heard the biggest problem that good players have is bankroll management. That and Craps tables. Seems like you'd have had a monster 'roll by now if you coulda controlled yourself. I wish you luck and please keep updating as this has the makings of a top thread!

    Great read. If you can go the distance with this diary (most vanish within a week or two) I'm certain it'll help you solve those tilt issues.

    I've honestly tried to post the hand 20 times and it always cuts out 1/2 the screen im having a nightmare with it. Can someone please tell me how to post em? copying and pasting isnt working.

Was gonna quit after the KQ hand but got dealt AA back to back. First time i got in on the flop in a £70 pot V top pair and won. Second i limped some guy made it £5 MP SB called and i shoved....was called by 8 9 of clubs and i held in a £140 pot. Feel like i need to go to church tonight and thank someone for my good fortune...very ashamed i tilted. Starting Bankroll=£80 Current Bankroll = £202.46 Sorry For Tilting.... Stu

    theres a guide in the poker clinic, its a sticky so at the top of the page.

    i open hand in the browser. left click and drag from top left to bottom right,(theres scroll bars so keep dragging til the last character) so all the hand is highlighted, then copy and paste into a post.

    some browsers dont do it right and it always comes out as junk. its best to be on ie. this may be another problem you encountered

    you do have serious tilt issues if losing half a buyin at nl4 makes you head to nl100.

    this is gonna be a rollercoaster. whats the plans now you have a couple of hundred behind you?

    I'm a ravens fan, always entertaining making the playoffs every year but never the Sbowl. Vikings are my seconds faves though and i loved '10 when vikes and favre made the playoffs. You going to wembley?

    Yes, a lot of this is very familar.
    We are on the same page SUPER TILTERS.

    Doing exactly the same and writing and using the forum as my control mechanism.

    Mind I saw DOYLE BRUNSON SUPER TILT  with one pair after Jamie Gold got him too fold a flush JACK HIGH if memory serves. He went ALL IN with ACE 10 against Guy Liarbette (Spelt wrong) a few hands later.

    Woke up at like 10am today and decided to play before getting up and at em. Session started really good as i got allin Vs KJ on the river with 77 on a 7 8 9 10 8 board for a stack. Almost immediatley after that i misclick shoved J 9 into K 5 on a KKJ flop, the pot was 20p so i was back to even. I then hit runner runner flush vs J 4 on a 44xxx board for a stack and finished my cash session at about 11.30 a tenner up. I then played and won a few SNG's Starting Bankroll = £80 Current Bankroll = £304.98 Today = + £14.22 Stu

    Tbh im jus gonna keep it going, it takes me off tilt quite a lot :)
    If i get like £1.5k or something together il start updating it weekly instead of daily i guess.
