Not happy just had a dilemma playing frenzys heres the story

well 3 players left pays top 2   1st is a £33 seat 2nd is £26.40 

ok 15 started down to 3 players blinds up every minute 1 guy has 30 k in chips so booked hes seat  now heres the question and im not happy  rebuys have stopped guy in the small blind has 30 k guy in big blind has 2k blind levels are 10k/20k  i have exactly the same chips as the guy in the big blind  which is 2k  my cards are 9 4 knowing even if i dnt win the hand the hand i still get 2nd if big stack wins   the big stack wins and i came 3rd and get nothing work that 1 out not happy

    was on to live chat for 45 minutes explaining myself  and still get nowt 

    i remmeber i got a trifecta up on the horse racing thats a tricast on the tote i done 4 horses at 10p costs £2.40 the tricast paid over £200  tote trifecta was not won ? well it was won i got it up had it for 10p worth and what i get a £25 good will gesture i didnt want that coz if its not won it would of paid loads so basicallysky made a boo boo and not get my tote bet on in time i have self excluded myself on sky bet its a joke

    well atleast tied 2nd the big stack won so i should get something ? i never play 4 9 reason i did is for this scenario knowing i have 2 chances to win

    well that was silly wasn't it.   Fold and you win.   Stupid mistake from you really.

    This dilemma has came up loads regarding 2 people with the same stack,   they came to the conclusion that if all 6 people went all in 1st hand in dym.  2nd and 3rd would Randomly be selected.

    Why would you win not other guy?

    Not sure what ruling is, did you get one? Maybe 2nd best hand gets 2nd (total guess and if they did this no idea if that's what they should do)

    reson i didnt fold because the small stack might of doubled up then id be in trouble if i knew it would end in this scenario i wouldnt of gone all in and let them battle it out i wouldddddddd never go all in on 4 9 but this was a gd chance well i thought 2 vs 1 dunno how i nevr got 2nd as big stack won

    But that's not the way it works lol... the system is designed to pay 1st and 2nd so that's what it will do, it's not gonna be clever enough to think 'these guys had the same stack so I'll just split the 2nd place payout'.

    But yeah as others have said, why would you assume you'd get 2nd (which you did originally say) ?

    Personally, if stacks were identical I'd just fold. If I had 1 chip more than him, I call.

    coz i thought it favous the guy to do the all in maybe im wrong this has happened before and i got the cash and this time not dnt get it

    When the stacks are the same it just picks at random like 1267 said, and it's good you've given an example of it happening the other way because it is just random, so it just shows, sometimes it goes your way, sometimes it doesn't but it's random. Fold next time ;)

    well like i said if i knew this b4 hand i would go all in with 4 9 let the other 2 battle it out and hope big stack wins
