What would it be worth betting here?

Hi folks,
It's the very first hand of last night's DTD1. We all want a good start but tight is right early and then this happens.
 The seven is needed for the straight but funnily enough, i was thinking that he may have a flush with a jack when he raised. I don't know why, just that he may be attached to his hand. It did go through my mind so i thought reraise and see if he thinks "he's bluffing, i've got a good hand. He'd be lucky to have two clubs and luckier to have the king/queen of clubs. He's got an ace, maybe two pair.....". What would have been a bet, in your opinion that he may have called or small enough that he may have reraised, possibly all-in?
You hear about overbet shoves etc but may game isn't at this level. I've no "notes" on this player. If you see 'stuff' i shoud/could have done please feel free guys.

Bit bigger maybe 1,150 total or something. 

Don't expect him to fold 2 pair to that size raise, certainly not a straight/flush, and he might even call with just an ace too.

his 3/4 pot lead out on the river is usually quite strong imo so I'd probs raise more. 1.1K-1.3K or something

i woulda gone 1.2 k and hope he jams and i would of barrelled on the turn when u check looks like a flush draw but if u barel on the turn your repping a ace and ya woulda won a bigger pot

Cheers guys . I agree it should be 2.5-3x his raise not including his raise. It's that sky button thing again. I wanted to do that but should add his raise to it as well and use the slider....
