I know ppl do this for poker tuition . I used to think the person giving the lessons came to your house or vice versa and watched you play and then gave you advice.

I,ve seen a cpl of things on facebook recently - ppl asking if they want to watch them play a tournament or cash session etc and pick holes in it.

I,ve looked a site called joinme.com but you have to pay although you can get a free trial for a few days. It just looks a bit complicated

I was wondering what advice anyone could give on the easiest to use or best sites without paying a fortune for someone who,s not a tecchie and doesn,t fully undertsand how these operate?

Teamviewer is free and works well and you can even screen share for free using Skype

Dunno what that's about paying for JoinMe, I use it all the time and have never paid anything. Maybe you pay to be a premium user or something, but you can definitely use it for free. But yeah JoinMe, or TeamViewer both do the job... go with JoinMe if you want something you can download and setup in literally less than about 30 seconds.

I must admit id did not know anything like this was around, but can see big flaws for poker sites if people start abusing this software.

as with afew times on poker sites i have played, and came across siblings/family playing together (are they using this software too????)  if in a dym very deadly game then.

hope people don't do this and that it would be looked into by the said poker companys, as people will allways try to beat a system (esp. when money is concerned).

i dont really know why people whould also use this software, apart from showing others what you are playing???  why???? so they know how you play!!!!   as cant be a teaching tool can it???

Yes, it's a teaching tool.

The actual software itself just shares your screen with someone else, so isn't designed to be used for poker, that's just one way you could use it.

But yeah, very good training tool, I'm pretty sure Coxy would use something similar while he is coaching people otherwise he wouldn't be able to assess their play and coach them.

I've used it alot with poker friends to discuss hands etc, but only ever discussing things after a hand has finished.

Obviously it is open to being abused, but no more so than people could just sit next to each other with 2 laptops.

yeah but sitting next to each other paul with 2 laptops u can only register mtts u cant register dyms or cash tables so its a bit different

If people are gonna cheat, they're gonna cheat, they'll do it via some kind of chat program or whatever, but they represent <1% of the people who play online I suspect.

It can be used as a great learning tool, and sometimes just as a bit of fun if you just wanna watch someone and get a look at how some different people like to play.
