Failing that, the self discipline to leave the table when you're no longer playing you're best.
there's always a local bookies nearby.
ps, just walk straight past it....the fresh air will do you good!!! lol

Why not take break for 3 days and do outside 'stuff' to recharge your batteries. I hardly play in comparison but just playing the afternoon league and the evening gave me a headache. i realised
a) i wasn't enjoying playing
b) i knew i would be giving money away
c) i could choose to stop.
I did and caught upwith other jobs and tasks that needed to be done.
PS I take Dohhh has his tongue firmly in his cheek but please give the roulette a miss m8.
We live our lives learning from our mistakes and you've visited that mistake before.
Cheers m8.....
Remember poker should be at YOUR beck and call not the other way around...
At first it was good as I hadn't done such a long grind before but it soon became apparent I was getting restless and started doing silly things which cost me a number of games. I've managed to get my multi-tables up to 6 now but when it's 6 DYM's all day long just clicking the fold button pretty much for 11 hours and 55 minutes with 5 minutes of actually playing hands I had to start putting in more breaks. I'd take 30 mins out every so often and would play counterstrike, own a load of people with headshots, and then feel uber 1337 and ready to take on the next session :P
Funny because I used to play counterstrike 1.5/1.6 for a number of teams which meant about 12 hours a day in practice and matches in preparation for weekend LAN parties, I'd take small breaks out of that to play a few online play money poker games.
I go down to local poker club about 2 nights a week to play some live f/o's, i can still play poker, i can still make money, but its more fun because you get to see and talk to ppl etc...plus there's this fit Bulgarian bird with massive knockers
I always get to the point where I'm playing just for the sake of it and it aint fun........
Go out, stick the xbox on or watch a film then play poker again tomorrow or when u get the urge to play again.
.

take care m8 and have abreak gl
Cheers,
Doug
