To tight a fold?

Hey all

This is a hand I played earlier this evening on the 2p/4p cash tables, and it's been really bugging me haha.

Basically I call a raise in position pre-flop with a view to set-mine with pocket 8s. I hit my set, but the board is so wet, I don't feel all that great about it. when there's a bet and a raise in front of me from two players who hadn't been particularly aggresive I fold, worried about straights/flushes. Is this too tight? Should I have called one street and see what happened on the turn? I don't know. How would you guys have played it?

Fist pump jam, or 3b smaller and call it off if you prefer. They can do this with loads worse and you have 30% equity v made straights or flushes

Yes this is definitely too tight. I probably jam because it's not often people at this level will raise the flop and fold to any size 3bet.

cnt believe my eyes when u hit a set n just fold yeah its 3 diamonds but still this is a big raise or even all in

Never calling the flop here at 4NL. Once he's min-raised the flop, they've basically said they're happy to play a big pot, so you wanna get your chips in now when you're very very likely to be a favourite.

bcos it's 4nl I probs get it in and then suck out when he flips a str8/flush
