he only has £8 behind - I just shove now and we're v.likely to be ahead and to be called, and if we're not, well, we have outs, but I think we are good. Villain might find a fold otr if a diamond or a 5/6 comes

I don't like over-limping pre-flop in middle position. I'd rather raise myself and take the betting lead. What other hands are you limping in this situation? I suspect it's going to be low pairs and suited connectors. Do you really need your opponents to know that? Come in for a raise or fold because of your position.

The flop is fine. Shove the turn. He's probably not betting full-pot on a draw or as a pure bluff so it's fairly clear hes got the big hand and his pre-flop raise and double-barrelling the flop and turn makes it virtually certain to be a big pair. Is he ever raising from the blinds with 33, 44, 77 or 88? Probably not, so we are almost certainly ahead. He's not folding after putting this much in, so just get the lot in now.
