As I don't get around too much (to other areas of the forum) I thought I'd post this link here;
http://blogs.telegraph.co.uk/news/tomchiversscience/100178222/is-skill-at-poker-and-elsewhere-just-one-great-big-bluff/I tend to agree with a lot of the commentators, who have put comments under the article, in that it's a very small sample - although if there was a big enough "skills gap" between the expert and average players, then the difference could be apparent even with a small sample size. Also depends on whether the hands dealt out were random or controlled - again if the hands dealt were pre-designated, the differences could become apparent even with a 60 hand per player sample?

Lol_Raise summed it up pretty well in a thread abuot this recently... he said something like:
"In the short term it's about 80% luck 20% skill.... but in the long term it's about 99%+ skill"
