I agree with taking shots fair play as a poker player you should always be looking to move to the next level and get better by playing higher stakes from time to time.
Totally agree "bearlyther" and "u sud fold. If your playing well and confident then live abit and take a shot at the higher games, its exciting and will only make you love poker more. As long as your not consistantly at these levels and its killing your bankroll then theres no problem with it, just make sure that you no if you lose then it wont effect you that much.
I'll never understand how some people constantly post on forums and play for hours all at a micro level and end up playing for 5 hours and earning £5.67. I understand if its for fun but come on, how boring is that
some posters on here have never ever moved up limit ffs bankroll management when you are playing "for fun" take a risk play higher idcku game has really impressed me last few weeks with respect a lot better than when i have seen him previously Posted by u_sud_fold
It's not really fun when you lose a few hundred quid you really can't afford to lose.
Not saying he can't afford to lose but most the lower stakes guys I doubt could take too many hits at 100nl and have much of a bankroll left.
1) If you're playing for fun, losing a couple of BIs at 100NL is gonna hurt a lot for most people which aint that fun
2) And saying it won't develop your game is flawed thinking imo. One of the things you need most to develop your game is volume/experience and it's hard to get alot of volume in if you're permanently playing underolled for a level, assuming you don't get lucky and never runbad
im comftable taking shots coz im comftablev in my play like u sud fold said i dnt wanna stick at micro stakes all my life its boring u can only learn when u step up
So you can't learn and improve at the same level? You can't be a player with a 5BB/100 winrate, and overtime become a player with a 10BB/100 win rate at the same level?

lambert try reading my post i didnt say anybody wouldnt learn at nl4 just they would do very very slowly if anybody wants to make progression in poker the quicker they get to the mid stakes the better as the game isnt getting easier Posted by u_sud_fold
I know, I was replying to IDCU who said 'you can only learn when you step up'. But yeah I wasn't just talking about 4NL specifically... 10NL is still micro stakes

word of caution, ability is not the same as discipline -
we all know you like to gamble on the edge, how many buy in at nl100 is enough
take care
