Hand Analysis on Ch 861

edited November 2012 in Poker Chat
After recently re-starting to watch Ch861 (RIP Ch865) I am finding it incredibly difficult to see how much people are betting during the hands!

I'm sure it used to be the case that we would see exactly how much is being bet, as though you were actually on the table playing, whereas now we seem to see bizarre 'raise' amounts that don't leave us knowing what odds are being offered for the call, etc.

From watching it seems the experts analysing the hands, particularly ones that are not 'regulars', struggle to decipher the betting too!

Why the change, can't it go back to being as we'd see it if we were playing??

Anyone else struggle, or am I being thick?

As far as I remember, the amounts we see on screen for bets are exactly as you would see if you were on the table yourself.

It's definitely not! It's menkles to try and follow!!

If someone bets 50 and someone re-raises to 150, I THINK we see "Raise 100" when on the table we would see (raise) 150.

That's a simple example though, when people 3-bet, 4-bet, etc it shows nothing like what you'd expect to see?
