Should I call or min re raise in this spot, instead of shoving?

We were down to the last 20 or so in last nights main event. Big chip leader is being fairly aggro and I'm one of the shortest stacks left in the field.

Was I right just to instantly shove all in? Should I have just checked to see if a K or A comes on the flop? Do I re-raise to show strength without necessarily putting my bounty on the line?
