Is this call of shove ok or not? Different hand...

Yeah easily. Never r/f here. It'd still be a call if he showed u pocket fives

Oh dear...was there another way? I'm assuming 15 outs so greater equity( 9 clubs, 3 2's, 3 aces) Villain was playing fairly tight so was expecting pp, high sc's, Ax,x>9, broadway. Should i shove to his raise on flop? I seem to be making moves that aren't going to help the ladder but if it had worked it would have been good. What i'm asking is what was the correct play here? Just call flop and see what arrives?

    Hi G
I know you arean accomplished player G but i can't agree with shove pre for my T life. That's just mad imo. Or do you mean shove on flop?

Yes he's saying, if you're going to raise the flop, don't raise-small, raise all-in.

This is the street you got the highest equity, and you want as much FE as possible.

Question to OP: Why did you reraise the flop?

If you want to go for your flush/straight reraise all in, its the only way considering how few chips you had left.

If you were deeper stacked I would accept just calling his bet and a river bet, (but not a flop then fold to a river bet).

Its a high variance play...... have to just accept it sometimes!

     Hi C
I rer the flop as i knew that that bet would show him i had two clubs, probably an ace so he could see that i had 12 outs min even if he had AX where x /> 8. Consequently we were in flip territory and he could be worse off than that. Is this flawed thinking?
TBH, I'M SORRY I DIDN'T RER ALL-IN TO HIS FLOP BET FOR SOME SORT OF FOLD EQUITY.

    Hi all

TY for your attention. I am learning a lot....using it and changing my style is another thing. May i ask you am i wrong for kicking myself for no laddering in these situations instead of looking for a big pot with greater equity than my opponent?
