I saw it leave its moorings yesterday morning, and thought someone had unstickied it by mistake.

But it hadn't sailed home tonight so I went to look for it.

Only to find out that it's all over.

reminds me a bit of the ending of LOTR

Yup, Tikay explained the lot in the final post.

Geldy, it can't be like LOTR, there was only one ending post, seven and then you might be right

Great thread, great work put into it by Mr K and a fabulous resource.  Shame to see it go but as the saying goes, all good things....
