IMO. In 1st hand everyone limped then someone raise a very small amount so villain probably just thought he'd give it a go too.On flop he got a flush draw "although a pretty bad one". On turn he had 2 pair so wouldn't be going away. River, obv pre plop action you wouldn't expect anyone to have be holding JJ,QQ and 77 is pretty umlikely so you have the effective nuts.

2nd hand, everyone limped so villain on button decided to limp too. The call on the flop is a bit debatble, especially with a player to act behind. The raise on the turn by the villain would sugest probably K10 or 910s but with so many people in the pot this would be dangerous as they could get reraised do this shows extreme strength. Obviously, with a "brick" on the river doesn't help the person holding AQ and although they are pot committed, apart from beating total bluffs I've suggested above they are losing to a great deal of hands and would very rarely shove knowing their oponent is pot committed. Also, on the turn the villain is raising the pot with 3 players still in it so it's possible they have a set or top 2 pair.
