Nothing much to add here.

First hand is just bad luck - nothing wrong with the play, just rebuy a big stack and try again.

Second hand - chuck your cards away pre-flop... J8 should rarely be played unless you are on the button... and even then it should fairly regularly be thrown away if someone has put in a decent size raize (unless, I guess, you are more competent than most at playing post-flop)
