most ways this hand plays out you go broke im afraid but i think its a call or a much bigger 3bet pre flop. Post flop i think your play is fine

    Hi C

TBH, it's the result that's terrible not the play particularly to my mind. Its relatively early in the T, you are trying to hit a trips and ,when you do, yu can expect to be ahead expect to be winning. The 3-bet is too small to acheive much as their stack sizes are far too large not to call the extra.  Whether that be inflating the pot or betting for value. However, you've not hit yet so personally i'd have just called. You hit and can feel that you're well ahead as surely KK or QQ would have 4-bet youunless they are playing tricky. If they are on draws then make them pay to see a card. However you get bet into and could easily be thinking it's KQ, AK, even Ax spades for a nut flush. After all, what hands are beating you at this ponit? Only JT.
So what kind of a bet to make....value surely. How about call his 720 and raise another 1440 on top so that he knows he will be pot committed. If he calls then a scary spde say may save you 3K if your instinct thinks he hit his flush and keep you in the game by playing conservtively.
However, he's just going to all-in on the flop isn't he as he has it so really it is just a cooler as there's only one hand that you're losing to. You still have a 20% chance of catching the full house, i think. Just poker gods being naughty methinks!!!
