£5.50 mega stack tonight

I think this needs to have a couple of the early levels REMOVED, and the 250/500, 500/1000 level ADDED. There's zero point in having such a long winded structure in the first couple of hours, for it to turn into a shovefest after like 3 hours. If this could be adjusted I will play it!!

    Wont be playing it tonight but the SPT online comp that I would like to play tomorrow has the same structural flaws.

    Plz look at changing the default structure for all new games, so this doesn't happen everytime :(

    I'd much rather remove levels like 20/40 or 30/60 in order to add in 250/500 and 500/1000

    Infact you could keep those early levels in and add the 250/500 and 500/1000 levels and it wouldn't make the tourney last too much longer.

    there's no need for the early levels. just completely remove levels 1, 2 and 3, perhaps 4, add 250/500, 500/1000. actually make the tournament playable. start it a bit earlier. done

    stop guessing.


    removing the first 5 levels would be a massive start. adding in levels at the flattest part of the structure wont help that much.


    removing early and flattening later is the way to get play later on in the tournament.


    10k stack 12 min blinds WITH antes throughout would be a slow comp. 


    as it is it's just another utter guess at a structure with no thought gone into it. 


    s'ok i'm already in the midst of writing a really long discussion/explanation/rant about the short comings of the structures and reasoning behind them.

    FIVE HUNDRED BIG BLINDS AT THE START

    WAT IS THE POINT

    start it at 50/100 and flatten the structure later rather than having the jumps increase and then you will have a multitude of play THROUGOUT not just a few levels of everyone being so deep it's beyond stupid.

    ya before i'm banned I will also say that UKOPS looks ALOT BETTER.


    reasons I think that,


    the '2nd chance' comps arent the same size as each nights main, which was OFC SUPER SILLY. 

    The addition of very small rebuys for differing bankrolls, + the smallish mini main buyins look well priced.


    COULD REALLY DO WITH SAY A £5.50 AND A £26 TURBO AT THE END OF EACH EVENING. THE LATER A TOURNAMENT STARTS THE FASTER THE STRUCTURE SHOULD BE.

    It's all trial and error at the moment as it's a new tourament.
    Give sky a little while to sort out any probs it might have, especially as it hasn't even been run yet lol.

    guys could these points not have been raised beforehand on the two threads set up and stickied re the your tournaments your discussion thread then the subsequent vote and feedback thread...... quite a lot of work goes into making these things happen, so at least give it a chance to run before suggesting tweaks. :)

    Agree with this 10,000 stark stack but its not really as deep as it seems with the structure.  Would like to see less blind levels being skipped in the super roller and ukops events.  Id also like to see a 10,000 stark stack for 1 of the £33 main events on sky.  The wednesday night double stack and the rebuy on a friday are a decent structure but the rest of the main events start with 2000 and 3000 on a sunday for the primo.  Would prefer to have more chips and deep structures as will be able to play more poker and play down the streets where as most of your decisions with a 2k stark stack will be allin or fold decisions.

    Was a good tournament (and I didn't cash). :)

    What I would suggest is moving the start time forward to 6.30pm or 7pm and alllow 1 hour late registration for people who couldn't make it at the start. That way the finish wouldn't have to be around the 2am mark.

    Hope with a few minor tweaks it stays on the schedule.
